Stumpp Schuele & Somappa Springs (SSS Springs) is the largest producer of high quality springs for the

automotive & defence market. The firm has a 70-year illustrious track record of manufacturing in India for

Indian and international clients. Industriousness, inventiveness, attention to the needs of its customers and

its craftsmen, as well as ongoing research and state-of-the-art manufacturing methods are the foundation

on which the company has built its image. SSS Defence develops and supplies a portfolio of land systems

and products for defence, homeland security and commercial applications. Our systems and products are

installed on new platforms, and we also perform comprehensive platform modernization programs. In

All our weapons under the SSS Defence sniper platform have been designed and developed by our team

in India. The weapons have been designed for accurate and dependable long range precision shooting.

The high performance bolt action sniper rifles under the SSS Defence platform provide military users with

many noteworthy operational features. Each rifle uses a barrelled action that is inspected, gauged, hand-

worked and accurized. The barrel length options range from 24” to 26” based on the mission criteria and

use environments. The trigger is an indigenously designed two stage trigger and the rifle is provided with

a highly efficient muzzle brake.

The sniper rifle platform is endowed with a modular, light weight and ergonomically adjustable sniper

chassis. The chassis is rugged, reconfigurable, low maintenance, and manufactured from aerospace grade

aluminium alloys. It’s impervious to foul weather conditions, and hot/cold temperature extremes.

The ergonomically adjustable shoulder stock, provides vertical recoil pad drop positioning and thumbscrew

cheek piece height adjustment. The shoulder stock is mounted to the SABER chassis with a strong double

locking folding hinge.

The aluminium alloy forend has a unique design with integrated accessory rail mounting locations at 3, 6,

and 9 o’clock positions. At 6 o’clock, both a Picatinny rail segment and bipod stud are standard.

Ergonomic adjustability, modularity, shoot-ability, and low-felt recoil with Sub-MOA precision are all

hallmarks of the sniper rifle

Chambered in the 7.62x51 NATO and .338 Lapua Magnum calibers, both popular among Military and law

enforcement Snipers across the world, the rifle platforms provide precision long range rifle shooters with

consistent sub-MOA precision. The .338 Lapua Magnum sniper weapon has exhibited high performance

on 1500 metres range, while that for the 7.62x51 for distances greater than 1,000 metres.
7.62x51/338 Sniper

The SSS Defence Bolt Action Sniper Rifle was developed with a high altitude specific mission to

engage targets with precision accuracy out to 1500 meters. The chassis is light weight and adaptable

for a multitude of shooters and deployments while remaining durable for the harsh terrain. The

action is based on the Bergara Premier and feature’s the battle-proven Mauser extractor with the

unique ability to quickly disassemble the bolt for cleaning and field maintenance without the use

of tools. Additionally, the rifle can be folded down to keep it compact.
