Murthi, an auto rickshaw driver in Chennai created a family group on the What’s’ app.

He then
inducted several members to the group. They mostly use the group to ensure that they are
getting the information from their relatives & friends. During the Nov 2017 there was a massive
cyclone in Chennai resulted into several losses & the destruction of the property. The aware
group of Murthy helped several people in the area to get the help at the required time. The
group then increased the number of the members gradually. They got involved in the social
work as well as the recreations of each other.
The ambit of the group raised to some thousand in due course of time. The group have wide
publicity & they were also have lot of respect in the locals because of their work which was
mostly selfless. The auto driver become, ‘auto anna’. Murthy not only made good fortune but
also good name. Gradually he had good followings in the locals. Now the college going girls
& boys would also come to him to see that their problems could be solved. As the numbers of
the group members have increased, several local politicians & influential people from the locals
also join the group.
Murthy now was seen to be a person who have the solution of many problems of the several
people. The students get the relief & of course the poor. Several people asked Murthy to join
in the politics, but he refused, as he said, it is not his cup of tea. Due to his non alignment, he
is favourite of all the political parties in the local area. Most of them joined his group, & he
was also very happy to be part of them.
Due to local elections in the state, Murthy’s importance got multiple times increased when
people come to him to get the guidance in selection of the appropriate candidate from their
area. Murthy did this work also & guided people to select a candidate from a much unknown
party who was selfless & honest like him. This led to a creation of the image of Murthy that
was far from being a social worker. The selection of good candidate led to development in the
area & it further led to goodness & happiness in the area concerned. Now the position of Murthy
changed to a God man then of just a aware person.
Due to the general election in the county, X party contested the election nationwide. They
approached Murthy to get the votes of the people in the local area of Chennai. Murthy dis come
to know about the intention & programs of the party & was much influenced. The X party also
offered him the ticket if he wants. But Murthy refused as he was more interested in social work
then in the politics.
Influenced by the X party’s mandate & political manifesto & of course the conversation with
him, Murthy, decided to back the X Party. Luckily due to inflation & anti-incumbency factors
the ruling party lost the elections & X party win. Along with others, Murthy was also happy,
where he still remains to be the humble Rickshaw driver. After some tome of the ruling, X
party become the puppet in the hands of the political interest of some of its political leaders.
Those were actually guided by the external forces to distort the entire economy of the country.
Murthy felt that it is his fault to have advocated for the X party. The local leader in his city,
from X party was found to be very corrupt person & he never come to meet Murthy after the
elections. Murthy went to see him, but later denied, due to being very busy.
Murthy unhappy because of overall work of these leaders, start positing actual aspects of the
matter in his watts’ app group. He gradually found many stories coming from almost every part
of the city & country on this matter. He started writing & sharing the information some times
in words, & some times in jokes. Others also started it. In short time several others people also
joined the group & they have mixed opinion about everything. The matter become grave when
some of the man made news also become part of the sharing. But group people enjoyed &
carried out sharing.
One fine day, Murthy was arrested for sharing information that was fake & libellous for the
siting MP of the city. He said that he did not do so, so police showed him the complaint copy
& content which was shared at his group. The report was lodged by one of the group member
against him, who was from the ruling party.
He denied that he did not have any idea as to what people in group are transferring to each
other, yet police did not accept his request. They did not even entertained that he was unaware
about any such rule of the government for sharing of information. Police arrested him & kept
him in lock up. Murthy denied any legal help from anyone & said he would like to repent on
what he did selecting the person from X party. This led to unrest among his followers & now
it is a matter of the peace & order.
