3 Year goals: Create the Classroom Environment Most Conducive to Learning. In the next
couple years of teaching I want to shift my focus from becoming a confident teacher to create the
best classroom learning environment that I can. This will require that I spend time researching
successful methods depending on the classroom environment I want. I can do this by evaluating
what kind of environment I want for a lesson or unit or as a year goal, then finding methods to
try in my classes. One way to do this is to talk with other educators in the community and online.
One huge goal of mine is to create the least stressful classroom environment in which I will need
to survey my students discover what is stressing them out and come up with a plan of action to
create a better environment for them. Within my instruction I can implement the strategies I learn

Long Term Goals: 5 Years Plan: Take on More Responsibility as an AVID Educator. In the
next five years of my career I plan on taking more responsibility in the school. I would like to
become an Avid Educator because of how much I believe in the programs worth.This will
