PROPOSED TITILE:

The impact of personality change on leadership

INTRODUCTION:

Personality is defined as the typical sets of behaviors, thoughts, and


emotional patterns that evolve from biological and environmental factors in human being.
Behavior of different individuals matters on different personality factors because human on
this earth have cannot have same personality, but combination of traits can be found in the
human being. Personality is the first thing seen in the individual and is very important factor
when a mother starts the grooming of a baby.

What is personality?

The condition or fact of relating to a person. (Meriam Webster).

There are different types of personality:

 Average
 Self-centered
 Reserved
 Role model

When it comes to personality change, yes personality also have changes in it and it can occur
with different factors effecting differently age, time consumption of a thing regularly can
easily affect personality to change whereas environmental factors also effect in personality
change. Personality change can also cause many effects in an individual life for example in
job in environment in domestic affairs and in education.

Personality change have 5 major traits that are

 extraversion
 neuroticism
 openness to experience
 agreeableness
 conscientiousness

In organizations personality change is a keen point for every employee because on whenever
the employee gets promotions there a certain change in the personality is seen. Personality

change with respect to leadership is very important because if a employee have a leadership
quality then he should have a certain personality and the change in his behavior is quiet
responsible for the growth of the organization and profit making. A good leader should have
loyalty, honesty, equality in his personality while interacting with their followers. He should
not be resistant to his personality and have an art to change it and have flexibility in different
situations accordingly.

Significance of the study:

This study is significant in many ways, first the study findings will
help in the on-job trainings for the employees which will help to build the leadership quality in
the employees. This will also help in determining the factors that causes personality change in
the organization

Aim of the study:

Aim of the study is to check that what are the impacts of personality change
on leadership. The purpose of this is to see whether employees have the quality of leadership
and do their personality changes occur due to leadership.

Problem statement:

Over the time triggers the research opportunities concerning whether


people can develop the personalities that are required for leadership. Whether successful
leaders’ personalities may change if confronted with specific situations.

Research objective:

 To see relationship between personality change and leadership


 What factors affect the personality change in organization
 Do employees have leadership qualities in them

Delimitations of the study:

This study is limited to the scope of personality change and leadership.

Not every level in the organization comes in the study.

This research scope is limited because we the changes can be seen only when a promotion
occurs in the organization.

Literature Review:

This chapter focuses on the literature review. The chapter presents the
concept and meaning of personality change, influence of personality change on leadership.
What are the factors that affect the personality change and how a leader have personality
change and he should remain constant with his personality in different situations in private
sector of organizations.
