General Information's:-

Technical Rounds
TCS Interviewer will try to keep the Technical Round to basic C programming Codes, Basic theory
and definitions and Focus more on your English.

Duration of Interview - Duration of Interview is around 15 – 20 mins

Coding Questions
Cognizant, TCS, Wipro will ask you coding questions like Palindrome, pattern printing etc even if
you’re from Non CS IT round with minimum expectation to extract atleast the logic involved.

C / OOPS Questions
TCS will necessarily ask some basic C / OOPS concept to all Branches. Well, you’re
applying to an IT company they expect you to know a little about C / OOPS theory.

Freedom of Topic Selection


All bulk companies, including TCS, give freedom of topic selection to you, generally the interviewer
will ask you the favourite subject and will ask questions from that, or will ask you the questions from
topics, chapters and projects mentioned in your Resume.

Core Department Subjects

Interviewer will give preference to the area of interest / subject mentioned in the candidate resume
and pick up the questions related to the papers published, additional courses mentioned,
certifications etc., Sometimes, he initiates the questions and then based on the answers they will ask
subsequent questions.

Project Based Questions


It is almost common questions for all the students to know the students interest in doing their
projects and their innovations along with any creative solutions. They like to understand the project
and the candidate role in the project. Preferences will be given to challenges faced and its solutions
identified by the students during the project phase. Even though, some of students will be answering
that they have project in final semester, TCS will be eager to know whether had real interest in doing
project and expects a minimum of problem statement of their project.

TCS asks interviewer to fill the interview feedback in 5 categories
