I give the Lord, almighty the source of my knowledge, the one who has been there for me in time

of immemorial who is still working things for me, directing my way of life and the one who has

been and will still be a strong tower, buckler and refuge for me. I give Him all the glory and

honor.

I express my sincere gratitude to my Guardians Mr. and Mrs. OGUNGBADE, God has been

using them through this present time to support me financially, morally and academically.

I also express my gratitude to my supervisor Mrs. JOHNSON A. for her thoroughly supervision

throughout my SIWES.

I also gratify these people for the support towards the great achievements of my SIWES: Mrs.

OYEWOLE and Mrs. AKINWANDE (Head of Unit) Nutrition and Dietetics unit Federal

Medical Centre Idi Aba and other staff of the company for the support during my SIWES in their

company. They have all been a source of inspiration to me and also to all my friends. I say a very

big thanks to you all.


PREFACE

Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) should be compulsory for all students that

are in School of Applied Sciences, Engineering technology and Environmental Studies. Because

it gives a solid background for the student before the commencement of the Industrial

Attachment (IT) after National Diploma (ND) it also exposes student to some aspect done only

practically.

There all student mentioned in this aforementioned school should undergo the practical training

(SIWES) for their own benefit.


ABSTRACT

This technical report is based on the establishment, location and background, activity and

experience of the industry. It also comprises of each unit of work done (CMPC: community

medicine and primary care, ANC: Antenatal, Kitchen and office, MOP: Medical out patient,

production). This technical report also enlighten us about nutritional facts of food, nutritional

guidelines for each diet, complementary feed and how to manage each disease.
