 Identify and give examples of learning behaviours and inherited traits.

Resources & Time Starter (10 minutes)

 Smartboard In the beginning, the teacher will check the student's prior knowledge by
(ppt) showing them pictures about inherited. Then the teacher will ask them what
do you see in the picture.

The teacher will give the students 1 minute to turn and talk with a partner
then raise your hand if they know the answer.

Modeling

The teacher will model the lesson by using PowerPoint slides on the
smartboard.
• The first slide will be the topic of the lesson Inherited Traits and
Learned Behaviors
• Then the teacher displays the new vocabulary like Inherited and
Learned Behaviors and explains for the students meaning each word.
• The last slide will be an example by using the pictures that shows
students what the different between Inherited and Learned Behaviors

Time & Main activities (30 minutes)

 The teacher will divide the activities into three different levels.

(ppt) Emergent activity:
 Set of pictures
Students will work individually in the group. They will need more guidance
 Worksheets
to do this activity. The teacher will give each of them worksheets and a set
 Glue of pictures. The student should distinguish between the inherited behavior
 pencil and the learner by placing the image in the correct box.

Development Activity:
Students will work individually in the group. They will have a worksheet
with a picture. The student should start the comparison and determine if the
picture Inherited or learned behaviours then writing down.

Master activity:

In this activity, students will work individually. The teacher will give the
students instructions for solving this activity. The teacher will give them a
worksheet. The student begins to draw an inherited image such as eyes,
hands, hair and others. Also, you draw a picture of learned behaviours such
as reading, dancing, playing and others.

 The teacher will clap her hand and ask the students to clean up your
table.

Resources Plenary (5 minutes)

Tr: will do a recap for the lesson. She will ask them what did you learn
today?

The teacher will give all groups a worksheet A3 with a set of images about
inherited and learner behaviour. The students must work together in the
group to identify images if you are inherited or learned a behaviour and
place them in the correct box. Then the teacher will choose one student for
each group to stand in front of the students in the classroom. They will be
“speaker” about their work.
