Hardware Options

NS7C quick and dirty Interface:

•  2-Port USB Hub
•  SYBA USB Sound Card
•  FTDI USB to Serial Adapter

RA-35 by W3KKC:
•  CM119 Based
•  PTT via GPIO on CM119
•  Op Amps for More Gain

MicroHAMS Digital Conference 2017

Hardware Options
Teensy TNC designed by John G8BPQ
•  Uses powerful microcontroller Teensy 3.6 which allows flexibility
•  Modes ARDOP (HF) and Packet 1200/9600bd (VHF/UHF)
•  Configuration by Arduino IDE
•  Size same as Raspberry PI, can be stacked.
•  Can be connected to PC via Serial, USB (or Bluetooth/Wifi, next PC Rev)
as a stand-alone unit without PI
•  Can be used with Winlink Express as ARDOP modem with Pactor
interface emulation
•  TNC needs no sound card and has PTT control, no need for a separate
digi interface

MicroHAMS Digital Conference 2017

Hardware Options
Winlink Development Team (WDT) TNC/Modem
•  Not much information has been released on this device
•  Will be a standalone unit, based on the Teensie board
•  Will certainly support ADROP, maybe other protocols?
•  Will likely be supported by Winlink Express and RMS Trimode
•  Price unknown
•  Availability unknown, expect sometime in 2017

MicroHAMS Digital Conference 2017
