1. Mrs.

Marza Caunca, never dreamt of becoming a teacher but then a realization hit her that she an be
a teacher is when she was ask to deliver lectures about personality development to college students as
part of a vocational course offered in her Alma matter. She then realized that she enjoys emparting
knowledge towards the youth and have acknowledged the goodness that teaching can do, to the young
generation.2. Thus, she also emphasizes that , like in many other profession, teachers also encounter
obstacles. And for her, one obstacle that she have personally encountered was on how to effectively
deliver the subject matter to the students. She also stated that being a non education professional,
although she had basic education units, it is still important to know more ways of being an effective
teacher. She took masters degree to equipped herself more. She had her first teaching experience in
abroad, and according to her the most difficult obstacle was the language barrier and to teach
kindergarten and elementary students. Her first teaching experience is with college students and she felt
so lost at first. When she was given kinder and elementary students whom she do not understand at all.
To mitigate her dilemma, she accordingly resorted to actions while explaning things as well as become
more creative in her teaching methods to convey the right message to the kids. She use action songs in
English and drawings to show the kids what she's telling them.

3. Being a good teacher as what Mrs. Caunca said, that first of all must love teaching because to be an
effective teacher, you need lots of patience towards the student. Not everyone likes to listen. Secondly,
a good teacher must be open minded and accepting. A good teacher must treat each student equally
with no malice. Personal biases must never play a role in your teaching ways. Last but not least, a good
teacher must be innovative and creative to make every lesson ejoyable.

1. Being a teacher never came into my mind. I always wanted to take tourism because i wanted to travel
the world while working but when my father chose education course for me, i accepted it but was never
in my mind that i will teach after i graduate. When i was in my internship and got assigned in the public
school, i how students see and love their teachers, the way they respect them that was when i realized
that i love teaching and that my passion for it came out and made me become the person i am today.

2. I have encountered many obtacles, in fact, i cant count them anymore. I once had a philosphy and high
standards when it comes to teaching. I always wanted my students to learn from me the values and
knowledge that they can use not only in their studies but a life learning and because of that i needed to
be strict yet caring, be tough but sincere to them. Many parents have reported me for being too strict
with my requirements but all of them understood the values that i needed to give to their children. I
have realized that it was very hard to teach in public school if i will follow my philosophy in life. I have
learned so much being a public school teacher. let the students pass because they are the ones writing
their life story.

3. For me, you become a good teacher when your previous or even current learners will thank you for
what you've done for them. For the knowledge they have gained and the values you have incorporated
in them. It is such a good feeling when the learners go to college or even graduated from college visit
you in school and being proud that i was their teacher.Teaching is a noble profession because teachers
handle a life-long learning. They are the second parents of children whom they just met at the first day
of class. Teachers cant make mistakes because learners look up to them. Teachers are the source of
knowledge and values. They need to get inside the hearts and minds of the students and that is very
hard to do. There will be no other professions without teachers.
