What is your Favourite Business?

My favourite business is opening a Restaurant Clay Pot. This type of business is using the
clay pot to cook the food, there many type of cooking menu that are using clay pot to cook,
like clay pot with carved chicken, pork, or tiger frog, clay pot kung pao chicken, pork or also
tiger frog, these two type of food are very spicy and many customers like of it. The reason for
me to open this business is because of my family, now there are opening this type of business,
they have their own recipe sauce that they are using to cook with using clay pot. Sometime I
have free time, I also tell my dad to teach me how to cook and also to remember the recipes.
This Business is come from my father and mother, since at 1995, they are still not married,
they are working together at a small restaurant in Seri Kembangan. At that time, they work
hard to live together. At 2000 - 2019 year,after they get married and give birth to me, they
moved to Kajang Sungai Chua, more bigger restaurant than the previous one. Of course, they
have many regular customers, so they are more comfortable to continue the business.
Since I when am small until now I am 19 years old, I did not eat that other restaurants
cooking recipes are not so satisfy than my family’s recipes, because at other restaurant there
mostly using the dry chilli, since dry chilli and are not my aspect to be spicy, so that my family
are using too dry chilli, also add a sauce that can fulfill my satisfaction, that sauce is have
sour, and a bit spicy, that is thai sauce. So that it can make the dishes not only spicy, and also
have a bit sour.
On the other hand, of course not only selling the clay pot food only, we can also can cook
porridge and also have fried fish to increase the business.

In your opinion, what makes the business special?

In my opinion, since clay pot business is not an easy for us, this is because we need to
fell hot when we to cook them. Other than that, if we need to make the clay pot food more
delicious, then we must take some times to cook them, and also need know to control the
fire level.
After that, the price of the clay pot foods are a bit expensive, it is like when you one person
one person count price, if you eat clay pot food for one person, it cost RM12 like that, so if
you eat clay pot food for two person meal, it cost like RM23. Thus we can know that the
more expensive food we eat, the more delicious that we eat.
On the other hand, the recipe of cooking clay pot food are very important. Since I am small
until now, I never taste that other company of clay pot foods are more delicious than our
family’s clay pot food, so I will more confident to open this business, to let people know our
family’s our own taste of clay pot food.
Last but not least, if we want to eat like “kung pao chicken”, we must use clay pot to cook,
because clay pot is cooked slowly at a low temperature to avoid the high temperature
damaging the flavour of the ingredients, so the taste will be more pleasant.

Why every business should create a business plan?

Business plan is a written document which described the proposed business to be

undertaken in a comprehensive manner. After that, it also known as a working paper,
business proposal, project paper or prospectus. The plan serves as a guide and blueprint
for a proposed business project that one intends to undertake.

There are some reasons that every business should create a business plan. First, the
opportunity for the entrepreneur to assess the business venture objectively, critically and
practically to let us know the progress of the business. Second, to study and evaluate the
feasibility of the business. Third, to convince venture capitalists, investors and bankers in
order to raise capital and obtain support for the venture. Forth, as a guideline for day to day
management of the business. Last but not least, to be able to distribute business resources
more effectively.

How budget could affect the business performance.

- Size of available funds, before a budget can be created, business leaders must be
aware of their companies’ current financial situation. Only the reliable revenue should
be considered in the budgeting process. Leaders must then determine net revenues by
deducting expenses, such as wages and materials, from the reliable revenue
- Long term business goals, leaders must align their budgets with corporate objectives,
opportunities, and strategies. In addition, when leaders make budgeting decisions, they
must consider not only the direct effect of a capital or operating expenditure, but also
its indirect effects.
- Industry and competitor analysis, industry analysis can provide the context for many
budgeting decisions because, in addition to the global economy, industry trends may
affect company operations. For example, an industry’s outlook is influenced by the
ability to improve the technical skills and abilities of company personnel. However,
government regulations, supply and demand and international transactions also affect
industry trends. For example, new government guidelines on permissible emissions
may necessitate new equipment or changes to a company’s operating procedures,
affecting several budget items.
- National and international events, risk is a major determinant of the feasibility of
business investment. Budget decisions that pertain to national and international
investments, therefore, will be influenced by risk management efforts a company may
implement to respond to particular scenarios. For example, a company may implement
controls to operate in a country experiencing political instability, civil unrest, as well as
climate change and other factors. Also important are the potential market opportunities
that are associated with emerging economies and a company’s past experience in
particular locales.
