Scenario 2. The Challenge of Doctors in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 influenced various aspects of human life, one of which was the
profession of doctor. The new challenge for medical education is to apply three new literacies,
namely data, technology, and human resources to produce Indonesian doctors who are able to
adapt and meet national and global needs. Millennial generation is very aggressively utilizing
technology and following the digital flow. The challenge is related to data literacy. There must be
an appropriate way for millennial generation not only to obtain data and information, but they must
also have the ability to process and absorb information. Millennial generation challenges are also
related to technological literacy. So that millennial can develop and make good use of the
technology used. Millennial generation is also demanded not only to be smart, but to have good
character. Human literacy becomes important to survive in this era, the goal is that humans can
function well within the human environment and can understand interactions with fellow humans.
