Introduction

Nowadays, fire is one of the catastrophe that has the most

occurrence. It may effect to small or big destruction depending
on it’s intensity. For instance, the Amazon. Rain Forest Fire
killed 3 million animals and destroyed almost all of the forest.
Help from different nation’s were hailed to stop the fire.
However, they used the traditional way to kill fire and
firefighter robots weren’t considered.

Robotics is a branch of science that deals with application of

advance technology in erecting and making robots that will aid
or has a specific function. The researchers decided to make their
own firefighter robot to test whether it is capable of
extinguishing fire.

In merit of all the information, the researchers will hypothesize

over the robot and will conduct different experiments to prove
that robots can be alternative materials to kill fires.
ii. Background of the Study

Robots have been an underrated material to extinguish fire. We use

robots to any man-made machine that can perform work or other actions
normally performed by humans, either automatically or by remote
control. It’s features, specially the firefighter robots are designed to
detect and kill fires. However, the capabilities of these firefighting
materials are still being questioned.
Most robots today are used to do repetitive actions or jobs
considered too dangerous for humans. A robot is ideal for going into a
building that has a possible bomb. Robots are also used in factories to
build things like cars, candy bars, and electronics. Robots are now used
in medicine, for military tactics, for finding objects underwater and to
explore other planets. Robotic technology has helped people who have
lost arms or legs. Robots are a great tool to help mankind
The researchers will examine and hypothesize the abilities and
limitations of robots by creating a sample robot named ‘Ngaw’. Ngaw
can detect a fire and quench fires. It is a small robot but has The features
of the robot is specialized to extinguish fire but then the amount of fire is
changing and not cons
In merit of all the information, this study will prove that robots can
also extinguish fire with different levels and intensities.
iii. Significance of the Study
This study will be undertaken to find out the robot’s capabilities to
navigate to the area where the fire is being occurred, detect a candle
flame (simulating a fire), extinguish the flame, and return to a designated
location.
For the Students,
This study will keep the students away from harm and the effect of
the fire to them.
For the Teachers,
This study will also keep the teacher away from harm if a fire will
spread inside the school premises.
For the Institution,
This study will help the institution in avoiding damages in the school
premises and to have alternative materials to quench out fires inside or
nearby the institution.
iv. Scopes and Limitations

A robot is an automatic mechanical device guided by a computer

program or electronic circuitry which enables it to perform tasks
assigned to it.

Robots are general purpose machines. Current robotics technology

makes them mechanically capable of performing a wide variety of
operations. … The problem with robots is that although they are general
purpose machines, it is very expensive to instruct them for complex
tasks.

Unlike in the movies, Robots are unable to think or make decisions;

they are only tools to help us get things done. Robots are machines with
programed movements that allow them to move in certain directions or
sequences. Artificial intelligence has given robots more ability to
process information and to “learn.” But, they are still limited by the
information that they are given and the functions they are given to
perform.
v. Statement of the Problem

How long can the robot handle the fire??

What precautionary measures could use to handle the robot??

How will the robot can handle the big fire with the help of the
firefighters?

vi. Hypothesis

If the firefighter robot will be successfully tested then there will be

alternative firefighters that may help not only the institution but also the
students.
