History Of Reog Ponorogo

Reog Ponorogo dance performance has an entertainment nuances also saves social
values and the history of Islamization in Ponorogo. Historical figures such as Suryo Alam,
Betoro Katong, Ki Ageng Merah, and Sunan Kalijaga who play a major role in the formation
of the value structure of the Reog Ponorogo dance that is reflected in the dance movements.
This paper discusses the interpretation of the values contained in Reog Ponorogo both the
values of customs, culture, social, politics, and history of the transformation of the life of the
old people towards the life of a new society.

The method of analysis with Pierre F. Bourdieu’s theory of social action to see that in
behavior that is objectified by the Ponorogo community after being observed and conducting
in-depth interviews shows that there is a dynamic relationship between the social behavior of
the Ponorogo community and the values contained in Reog dance. On the other hand, the
history of Ponorogo Islamization can also be read from the Reog Ponorogo dance. In the end,
the Reog Ponorogo dance art became an accumulation of values, ranging from history,
custom-culture, to social behavior that formed a dynamic, inclusive, and transformative
society to openly develop, and always dialectic with the times.

History of Feminist

Over the last decade, feminist practitioners across a variety of disciplines have been
invoking history as an important grounding for both feminist politics and feminist theory. At
the same time, however, insufficient account is taken of the extent to which standardized
versions of ‘ the feminist past’ are being invoked to represent a wide variety of feminist
experiences and an equally heterogeneous set of historical circumstances and cultural
contexts.

It is suggested that if feminist reconceptualizations of history are to be taken seriously

if, in other words, history is the production of knowledges about the past and is itself
contingent on the conditions of the present feminist theorists must begin to reference both the
imperial legacies of Anglo-European feminism and the multiplicity of feminist movements
around the world. Only when feminists of all disciplinary persuasions begin to acknowledge
the complex historical legacies of modern feminisms and situate their own critiques within
them will feminist theory be properly grounded in, and responsive to, the exigencies of
feminist history.

Penampilan tari Reog Ponorogo yang bernuansa hiburan juga menyimpan nilai-nilai sosial
dan sejarah islamisasi di Ponorogo. Tokoh-tokoh sejarah seperti Suryo Alam, Betoro Katong,
Ki Ageng Merah, dan Sunan Kalijaga yang memainkan peran utama dalam pembentukan
struktur nilai tari Reog Ponorogo yang tercermin dalam gerakan tarian. Tulisan ini membahas
interpretasi nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Reog Ponorogo baik nilai-nilai adat, budaya,
sosial, politik, dan sejarah transformasi kehidupan orang tua menuju kehidupan masyarakat
baru. Metode analisis dengan teori aksi sosial Pierre F. Bourdieu untuk melihat bahwa dalam
perilaku yang diobyektifkan oleh masyarakat Ponorogo setelah diamati dan melakukan
wawancara mendalam menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang dinamis antara perilaku
sosial masyarakat Ponorogo dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam tarian Reog. Di sisi lain,
sejarah islamisasi Ponorogo juga bisa dibaca dari tarian Reog Ponorogo. Pada akhirnya, seni
tari Reog Ponorogo menjadi akumulasi nilai-nilai, mulai dari sejarah, adat-budaya, hingga
perilaku sosial yang membentuk masyarakat yang dinamis, inklusif, dan transformatif untuk
berkembang secara terbuka, dan selalu dialektik dengan perkembangan zaman.

Sejarah feminisme

Selama dekade terakhir, para praktisi feminis dari berbagai disiplin ilmu telah menyebut
sejarah sebagai landasan penting bagi politik feminis dan teori feminis. Namun, pada saat
yang sama, akun yang kurang memadai diambil sejauh mana versi standar 'masa lalu feminis'
sedang diminta untuk mewakili berbagai pengalaman feminis dan sekumpulan keadaan
sejarah dan konteks budaya yang sama-sama heterogen. Disarankan bahwa jika
rekonseptualisasi feminis terhadap sejarah harus ditanggapi dengan serius - jika, dengan kata
lain, sejarah adalah produksi pengetahuan tentang masa lalu dan itu sendiri bergantung pada
kondisi masa kini - para ahli teori feminis harus mulai merujuk keduanya warisan kekaisaran
feminisme Anglo-Eropa dan banyaknya gerakan feminis di seluruh dunia. Hanya ketika
feminis dari semua keyakinan disiplin mulai mengakui warisan sejarah yang kompleks dari
feminisme modern dan menempatkan kritik mereka sendiri di dalamnya teori feminis akan
didasarkan dengan tepat, dan responsif terhadap, urgensi sejarah feminis.
