Abstract
CampusOrganizer+ is an inventive way for students to find a schedule that fits their needs while also
accomplishing everything they have planned. Our technology makes it easy for students to stay on top of
their work and accomplish all of their goals. College students often find themselves struggling when it
comes to dealing with time management and organization on their own. CampusOrganizer+ provides
students with an easy to use app to make sure that they are sticking to their plan and fitting in everything
that they wish. This app allows students to plug in the activities that are mandatory to attend (such as
class or studying) and the activities that they want to fit in (such as working out or napping). After the
students have everything they want to do submitted in the app, it will then generate multiple schedule
choices based on all of the possible options. By utilizing this app, it will make it much easier to squeeze
in that 30 minute nap that you did not think you had time for, or make it possible to attend that “night out”

problems with time management. TechRight, Inc. is ecstatic to announce the release of
OnCampusOrganizer+, a no-stress schedule generator. Most calendar or reminder apps allow you to input
your own schedule and events, but our research found that a great deal of college students have a hard
time creating and sticking to a schedule. This lack of planning lead to a decrease in sleep, increase in time
wasted, and desire to be more productive. Our patented TechRight system takes the stress away from the
user. OnCampusOrganizer+ allows the user to input specific details about their life (class schedule,
workouts, job hours) and then generates potential schedules that would benefit the user. Schedule apps
and planners have been proven to be successful all around the world, so our team’s goal is to provide a
better product that takes class schedules and organizes them for the students. Based on our research, our
team has selected The University of Alabama as the ideal candidate to test our TechRight application with
college students.

then select the schedule they want to add and our application adds it to not only the calendar in our
application, but on the user’s approval, to the basic calendar app on their phone. Through the application,
users will be able to receive notifications, share their schedule with others, and even lock their phones
during classes and/or important events. TechRight, Inc.’s goal is to transform OnCampusOrganizer+ from
an application into an experience. We want to promote mental and physical health of college students not
Our research team has explored similar technologies and schedule-making applications. Based on
our findings, we confirmed that there are no legal conflicts with our new technology and design. Due to
the increase in sales from not only schedule-making applications, but also planners and journals, we
believe that we will be hitting the market at the right time The difference between our product and similar
products on the market is our design creates a schedule for the user based on information and data from
the user’s class schedule. Other technologies require the user to create their own schedules manually. Our
team has concluded that this difference will allow our product to flourish in the marketplace.
The customers, we intend to reach, are college students. Specifically, we want to primarily focus
on University of Alabama students. However, our product can be used by people of all ages. There are
One way we plan on engaging our customers is by creating a questionnaire. Our questionnaire
will ask college students on how they cope with school work and social life (on their own schedule). Once
we get a hold of the results, we will average out what would benefit the average college student’s day.
From there we will form an analytics spreadsheet in order to make an accurate calculated field within our
software.
Our target customers are University of Alabama students. We were able to get a lot of responses
through our questionnaire. Nearly 90 students told us their daily activities during the school year. In
addition, 62% of the college students surveyed stated that they would use our OnCampusOrganizer+ app.
The main difference with our proposal app compared to others focuses on giving suggestions to
the individual on how they should manage their time. A couple of things that would make our app stand
out from other apps would be the ability to generate different options (based on priorities), the ability to
“lock” phone if wanted (ex. When studying), and the ability to “mark off” completed tasks. Also, our app
The OnCampusOrganizer+ app would be free to use for University of Alabama students. Within
our app we would place ads in order to help out with our financials. Our goal is to make our app
accessible, to University of Alabama students, in the best way we can. In order to make this possible, we
plan on pitching our app to the University of Alabama Technology Board. Once we get approval, we hope
that the University of Alabama place our app within the mybama software, so students can inherit the app

Memorandum A
To: Ms. Marni Presnall
From: Christian Townson
CC: Kalle Edwards, Lauren Wasley, Matthew Tigner
Date: 22 October 2019
Summary
As of October 22, my team has designed, distributed, and evaluated the results from our
questionnaire to demonstrate our company’s potential for The University of Alabama. We will
now begin the proposal narrative and look forward to presenting our innovation and findings on
November 7 to obtain the $20,000 VentureWell Grant.
Discussion
Prior to Fall Break, I created a 9-question survey focusing on the mental and physical
health of college students relating to class schedules. Our team distributed the survey, and we
recorded ninety responses from the questionnaire. The results of the survey supported our claim
that college students need a smarter schedule to have better time management. A majority of the
students stated that they felt that they did not have enough time throughout the week to
accomplish what they wanted. When we asked them if they would be willing to try a schedule
creator, 84% said that they would “at least try it” or have a stronger draw towards it.
With the positive feedback, we are confident that our OnCampusOrganizer+ app will be a
success. We are starting our narrative proposal on a high note, and we believe that our
application will thrive at The University of Alabama. We also think that VentureWell will be on
the same page. Once we have our proposal approved, then we should be ready to present our
innovation within a month.
Recommendation
Due to our strong start, I will be responsible for the technology and value proposition portion of
the proposal and on the presentation powerpoint. The rest of our team will work on the other portions of
the proposal, and we will begin to collaborate with each other to confirm that the proposal is clear and
concise. With each team member on the same page for this project, we are confident that we will finish on
time to present it to VentureWell.
Memorandum B
The purpose of this memo is to update you on the progress of the OnCampusOrganizer+ Grant
Proposal for the $20,000 VentureWell Grant.
Summary
My team began this project on October 17th and has completed the questionnaire, abstract, and
proposal narrative and is now working on the presentation. We are still on schedule to complete
the grant and present it to the committee on November 7th.
Discussion
The project has been moving along smoothly and according to schedule. On October
18th, we all wrote the questionnaire and sent it to fellow students to respond, we all created the
logo and cover page, and we all researched comparable products to our Smart Dock. Once all the
data was in for the questionnaire, we began working on the proposal narrative on March 22nd.
Lani worked on the team bios, Ricardo on the technology and value proposition, Shuai on the
work plan and outcome, and I wrote the business model and market section. We completed the
proposal narrative on November 5th and began working on the final documentation. I wrote the
abstract, Kalle wrote a memo for the questionnaire, Christian created a budget for the grant, and
Matthew set up the table of contents and and started compiling the sections into one document.
We started working on the grant presentation today and creating an exploded diagram with
words and visuals for the visual presentation.
Recommendation
The next phase of the project is to work on the presentation as a team over the next week as well
as to complete the project management documentation. We plan to complete the presentation and all the
proposal deliverables by November 5th so that we will be ready for the presentation on November 7th.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the project and we will respond promptly.
