AK Gamerz Club

Purpose
AK Gamerz (GMZ) is a club where members will actively interact with other members while
playing video games after school. The club will include members enjoying playing games with
each other after school. Gamerz will be very interactive as members will play with each other
and will be able to vote to determine which game will be played. On every 4th meeting the club
will participate in in-school tournaments where members will compete against each other in the
game for that month. The purpose of GMZ is to build a supportive and cooperative community
of fellow video-game players throughout Ardrey Kell by gathering them in one central location,
providing a great place to build friendships in high school. The club will create a great place for
students with a common interest of video games to meet and create strong bonds in high
school. This will be a huge benefit for students who still wish to a friend group in high school by
finding new people with similar hobbies. GMZ is ultimately an interactive club where members
actively engage in social and team building activities to help introduce others to people with
similar interests.

Officers

- President
- Chief club officer.
- Directs all club meetings, establishes goals for club, encourage involvement and
motivation in club.
- Provide equipment for club.
- Create list of Video Games to be voted on.
- Vice President
- 2nd-in-command officer.
- Fill role if President is unable to attend.
- Handle social media accounts (email, instagram).
- Secretary
- Keeps records of every meeting, including but not limited to:
- Attendance for every meeting
- Write End-Of-Year Report
- Submit End-Of-Year Report
- Log activities and projects

Elections
- Elections will be held in a secret ballot. Members will vote for each other on who they
want to take officer positions.
Membership
- To join Gamerz the following requirements must be met:
- At least 2.5 Weighted GPA
- Cannot have a grade lower than a 70 (F1) in any class
- No more than 5 absences in any class

Meetings
- Club meetings will be held every other Wednesday after school from 2:30 to 3:45 in
room ____. (Unless stated otherwise.)

Amendments
- Should there be any request to amendment the current constitution, the request should
be presented to any of the higher-ups (VP or President). After request is understood, all
officers shall participate in a voting process, whereas 2/3rds of the officers must agree to
the amendment.
