PARTICIPANTS 1

1. The factors that I consider to stay in the institution are salary and proper compensation, good
relationship between co-workers and employers and healthy working environment.
2. The administrative support encouraged me in a sense of professional growth and financial
stability specially when the administration itself seeks not only to improve the quality of
educations but also to develop the educators itself.
3. Of course, when practicality speaks great incentives baits great quality of work and all
employees seeks that in selecting an institution.
4. For me as an employee having a better employer creates a healthy working environment that
makes me more effective and efficient in my profession and for me if that happens the work will
be well paid.
5. Those mandates gives me the challenge to improve more and to learn more to be much better
than before and be above the qualified standard.
6. The admin could support me more as an employee if they will pursue some programs that seek
to improve their employees to grow professionally and physically.
7. In my case as a breadwinner my personal factor that influenced My decisions is if this profession
can support me as a professional and if it could support the needs of my family.
8. I don't have any special provisions to be a highly qualified educator but I do have the guts to
absorb all the negative outcomes of this job and be a catalyst that turns this negativity to
positivity and hope for learners and I thank you.
9. A good leader knows when to make a room for improvement and a good leadership is about
how to make challenges into learning.

PARTICIPANT 2

1. I think the factors that I consider that makes me stay was my colleagues who became my closest
friends that makes my work easier. Also I'm so familiar with the system that it makes my work
much easier and of course the teaching environment.
2. It actually kind of discouraged me to stay or maybe it's one of the reason I'm thinking about
looking for another employment is because the support I need when it comes to seminars and
educational improvement is not that visible. Though there are some seminars they provide for
us, but still it would be much more encouraging if you can see the support when it comes to
other seminars outside the institution.
3. It has a very big impact, it's because whether the work is tiring and it provides extra effort from
the employee as long as the incentives offered is good or enough. It makes it more satisfying to
work beyond your limits.
4. The support given to us by the administrators is very important, simply because whether it's a
company or institution the administration serves as the leader to the employees and if I think
that the support they're giving to me will make me improve as a better person then it's much
easier to stay and dedicate my hard work in this institution.
5. They do mandate for our professional development as teachers, by giving us some links about
some seminars & trainings that it makes it more encouraging as for me to improve and for me to
able to meet the professional development plan i made for myself and to be able to reach that
goal, it actually made it more encouraging to stay. But mandating and supporting are two
different things.
6. I think by providing free seminars and workshops outside the institution. Also by giving a little
bit of financial support to seminars or achievements as a form of reward for representing and
promoting the school outside the institution.
7. It's a very hard weight sonething you want to do from something need to do. I want to dedicate
myself in teaching whether it's hard and not that appealing financially. But then I am an ordinary
person after all like anybody else who has a dream for my family that I need to support and
hoping for them to have a brighter future. It actually made me think as to the point where I am
already sending apolications online, and looking for better offer whether it's not the profession
I've chosen.
8. I want to improve myself as a teacher for me to be able to provide quality education for my
students and I do that by looking for some training, seminars and workshops in line with my
profession. And as of now Im thinking of continuing a degree in my education so that I'll
continue to learn more about my profession. It doesn't that have much impact because I would
still have the same decision whether I'll stay or not. But staying has a more advantage for me,
because I'm too familiar with my working environment tgen it woukd be much easier for me to
do others things outside the institution like the said special provisions.
9. Consistency is one of the characteristics of effective leadership for me. A person open for
change and suggestions is what I vision for an effective leader. A person whose able to make
decisions that would benefit not only the institution/company but the employees as well. And
to be able to motivate the people around him/her.
10. It's because having a good leader that provides good leadership will make our work easier and a
less tiring. Since we are part of an organization, it's much easier for employees to do their best
if things are organized within the organization. That will make us employees to give our trust to
our leaders inside the institution.
11. Since we are part of an organization, it's just a machine that for it to be able to work as and
provide results we need each part to work their respective parts. (Medyo redundant dun baka
may maisip ka sir) as for the support we need from the administration we really need it for us
to be able to focus on the part that we should do. This is one of the factor that affects the
retention of employees. Even though we are educators known as to show dedication above
anyone else but we also have some needs that would like our admin to provide to us for our
satisfaction as a hard working and dedicated employee. ( In other words wag naman sana nila
tayong abosuhin)
