CMMI Associate Certification


Successful completion of this course qualifies you to
take the CMMI Associate exam. Upon passing the
exam you will become a certified CMMI Associate
• The open-book exam covers understanding of CMMI
concepts in general and specific model content for three
CMMI models (Acquisition, Development and Services).

• You can become familiar with the Acquisition and Services models by reviewing
the Quick Reference Guides included in your course materials, or by
downloading the complete models from the CMMI Institute website
(http://cmmiinstitute.com/resources)

• The exam is available to take online at anytime for $250.

Exercise: Japers Engineering and Design, Inc.

Next, we will do an exercise.


• We will form you into work groups at the resort.
• You’ll identify a few improvement goals for your group (on a flip chart).
• Your group will select a spokesperson.
• Finally, your group will present its ideas and serve as a reviewer for another
group.

Once we establish process goals, we’ll consider why CMMI-based process


improvement might help.
