Alignment. The body of the paper should be left-aligned.

Appendices. Note the restrictions on the following appendices.

 Permit to Conduct Research: A template is available for this purpose.
 Informed .Consent- Only one accomplished Informed Consent should be appended in the
report.
 Accomplished Validation Instruments: Include all three accomplished forms.
 Language Editing Certificate (LEC): There are two types of this certificate. LEC-A is for
papers edited by LLC editors. LEC-B is for those edited by non-LLC editors. (N.B. Editing
will include both language and format)
 Declaration of Originality: This should be supported with a printout of Turnitin Similarity
Index downloadable on Canvas.
 Researchers’ Bionote: Information about each researcher is limited to one paragraph only.
Any personal data irrelevant to the research should be omitted.

Headings. Levels of subordination should be considered in organizing heading levels. The

major sections of the paper are written in level one format, the subsections in level two, and the
succeeding subsections within subsections are in levels three, four and five format. This is
illustrated in the table below.
