Dear Pooja,
Offer Letter
We would like to thank for giving us the opportunity to meet with you, and discuss a possible
employment opportunity with Manoja Retail Industries Limited (hereinafter referred to as MANOJA)
1. We are pleased to “Offer” you the position Web Developer on the following terms and
conditions which will govern your employment with MANOJA and will be effective from
your due date joining MANOJA.
*For the details of your compensation i.e. CTC pleases refer Annexure.
2. Upon your acceptance of this offer, and subject to successful completion of all pre-requisites
to the satisfaction of Manoja Retail Industries Limited your appointment will be at Latur,
(Ambajogai Road, Near SP Office, Under Mayura Lodge ) and your date of joining will be as
mutually agreed upon.
4. During the course of your employment with MANOJA, you will work exclusively for, and in
the interest of, MANOJA and maintain confidentially as to the business of MANOJA and its
customers, as required by the MANOJA. You will not associate yourself any activities as in
the opinion of MANOJA to be harmful or detrimental to the interests of MANOJA.
5. You are not entitled to be employed with another employer and also not be interested directly
or indirectly in other business or vocation.
6. MANOJA shall have the right, but not the obligation to transfer / second you, as the case may
be, to any function, business group, any other location within India, or to its affiliate and
subsidiary organizations, at any time in the future.
7. As a prerequisite for joining the employment. MANOJA will make confidential reference
checks. Including your stated academic credentials and professional career and achievements.
Hence, your date of joining MANOJA is contingent upon entering the requisite data on First
Advantage website for ignition of background verification, This offer would stand revoked if
the requirements is not fulfilled within (7 days) from the time of receipt of email intimation.
8. Upon joining, you shall provide MANOJA with the mentioned in the checklist shared with
your over e-mail. You will also be required to declared any indebtedness, personal
investments, your involvement in any litigation and make such other declarations and
undertaking that are required as per MANOJAs policies on joining , and during the course of
your employment with MANOJA.
9. All intellectual property rights and goodwill generated, as a result of your employment with
MANOJA, shall be for the benefit of and belong to the city. You hereby unconditionally
agree to assign all intellectual property rights of whatever nature that may arise under or in
connection with the services you provide whilst in employment with MANOJA.
10. You will be eligible for other perquisites and benefits as applicable and available to officers
in your grade from time to time.
11. Your monthly payments and your benefits shall be subject to deduction of income tax as per
prevailing income tax rates and other statutory deductions as may be required. In accordance
with applicable legislation in force time to time.
12. Termination :
(a) MANOJA reserves the rights the right to terminate your employment immediately, at any
time , in case you are unable to provide all suitable documentation required as a part of the
joining the services of MANOJA.
(d) MANOJA reserves the rights to terminate your employment immediately, at any time ,
without making any Payments to you in lieu of notice, in case:
ii. Your absent yourself from the service of MANOJA without prior approval, or
overstay sanctioned leave by fifteen consecutive days without prior intimation
and approval, as you will be deemed to have abandoned voluntarily.
(e) Upon termination of this employment, you shall immediately return all MANOJA
property in your possession to MANOJA. You will be relieved from services only after
satisfactory hand-over of responsibilities, settlement of outstanding dues and service of
notice period, and subject to any specific conditionality’s mandated by relevant
circumstances at the time.
13. Retirement: You shall retire from the services of MANOJA upon completion of 58 years of
age.
a The first 60 days of the Employment Term shall be considered Employee's probationary
period.
b During the probationary period, the Company shall not provide any fringe benefits.
c During the probation period either party can terminate employment by giving least 3 to 7
days’ notice without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
d MANOJA reserves the rights to terminate your employment immediately, at any time, in case
you are unable to provide suitable outcome or complete the assigned duties.
15. Consent : You hereby provide your express consent to MANOJA for:
(a) Monitoring your financial transactions in all or any accounts held with MANOJA.
(b) Retention / preservation of your employment records with MANOJA for indefinite
period.
16. Governing Law: Your employment (including these terms) shall be governed by and
construed in accordance with the laws of India.
17. Validity of Contract: This offer letter is valid for 2 years from the date of signing.
These above mentioned terms and your employment with MANOJA, is contingent upon your
conforming written acceptance of the above terms and conditions of MANOJA within 10 days of
receipt of this letter by you on the duplicate copy of this letter and your joining date should be 3rd
Day of July, 2019 (known as ‘agreed date’).
This offer letter shall stand revoke in case you (the candidate) fail to join within a week (7 calendar
days) of the ‘agreed date’. Also in such an event your candidature shall be barred from being
considered for future opening in MANOJA.
