What will the students and the teacher be doing? Week 1, we will have lessons going over the four seasons. (This includes what they are doing with the technology). We will cover what the seasonal changes do to the environment, the surrounding plants and animals. We will cover what the animals have to do during the seasons to survive. Week 2, I will have the children choose a season and an animal. We will spend the second week researching what their specific animal does during their selected season and what their environment looks like. We will utilize our research books that are 1 subject notebooks that the students will be able to write their findings in, as well as cut and paste articles that have been printed out from the computers or magazines. The students will be shown how to bookmark cites that will have pictures or videos that they might want to put on their posters. We will have our research questions that we must answer and find facts for: What is my season? What is my animal? What does my animal’s environment look like? What do the plants look like? What does the animal eat during this season? Midway through week 2 we will go over the web 2.0 tool Glogster. We will talk about the buttons and what they do and how to add to your posters/glog. Week 3 will begin by building our posters on glogster and applying our knowledge of the lesson. Week 3 will end Pedagogy
