DESCRIPTION 
The Dynamic Duo, Cody Bortle and Gaby Dale, are well known comedians that reside in the San Pablo 
Residence Hall. They share the same major and are known for their comedic outbursts in the classes they 
share. Listening to their podcast will surely get anyone laughing since they are both natural born comedians 
with the energy of thirty lions fighting over one piece of chicken. The Dynamic Duo are also known as 
Michelle Obama and Zac Efron and if you’re wondering why they have those nicknames you’ll have to tune 
into their podcast pilot to find out! 
TITLE OF PODCAST  
DYNAMIC DUO C & G: FUNNY STORIES TO TELL IN THE LIGHT 
PODCAST TOPIC 
In this podcast we will be spending time telling some of our personal favorite funny stories that we’ve 
encountered and will offer advice to our listeners throughout the show. 
GENRE OF PODCAST 
The general genre in which our podcast will be attributed with would be the genre of Comedy Casts. Our 
podcast fits in the genre of Comedy Casts because we will be telling our own personal stories with hopes of 
making our audience laugh. The genre of Comedy Casts includes a wide variety of shows ranging from skits, 
sketches, and stand-up comedy, all of which with the same goal of making their audience laugh. Although 
we won’t be performing any skits, sketches, or stand-up comedy, our podcast still hopes to bring joy to our 
audience through comedic stories. 
DESCRIPTION OF HOSTS 
Our podcast will have two co-hosts, the dynamic duo themselves, Gaby Dale and Cody Bortle. Cody is from a 
small town in Central New York with big dreams and hopes to obtain a B.A. in Secondary Math Education at 
Arizona State University. Gaby is from sunny San Diego where she lives with her mom and dad. She also 
intends to receive a B.A. in Secondary Education Mathematics. 
ESTIMATED LENGTH OF SHOW 
Our desired average length of show that we are planning to create would be approximately 60 minutes long 
each episode. We decided to make our podcast have an average length of 60 minutes because we hope our 
audience will listen as they are getting ready in the morning and we personally feel that the average person 
typically takes approximately 60 minutes to get ready. We hope our audience listens to our show as they 
get ready for their day so they can start their day off with some laughter and joy. The estimated length of 
our pilot will be approximately 20 to 30 minutes long. We decided to make our pilot a little bit shorter than 
our typical episode so our new audience can get a taste of what our show is all about and not have to 
commit for a full hour. 
PROPOSED FREQUENCY OF SHOW 
The proposed frequency of our show would be about every 2 weeks. We decided on every 2 weeks so we 
would have enough time to think of relevant content so our listeners will be satisfied with each show. We 
feel that two weeks between each show is more than enough time to think of content.

SCRIPT VS OUTLINE 
We plan to use a general outline of what topics will be covered in our podcast. We will be adhering to this 
method during the production of our podcast because we feel that will give our audience a raw and 
unscripted experience. Also if we were to use a script for our shows that would result in us needing more 
time between podcasts to plan it out ultimately increasing the proposed frequency of our show.
