1. Implementation of feedback:

In 1-2 paragraphs describe in detail your plan to revise your project based on the
feedback you received. Identify elements that you are able to modify, as well as any that
are not reasonable given time, expertise, and cost, etc.

I did not receive feedback from my peers on my project because the people I agreed to
review my project with did not complete their own projects. I will revise it with my own
feedback because I am my worst critic. I know that I can modify how many slides I
should have. I should have at least two more slides included, but I am unsure of what to
use those slides for. I have had others try out my “application” and they all enjoyed it
and said it was easy to use and that it should be a real and legitimate app. I also think
that it could of used music but it also felt unnecessary. I have sound effects for every
click and animation to make it more intriguing and eyecatching. I even had some
modern language included in my presentation, targeting a younger and broader
audience between the ages of 16 and 35.

2. Learning Reflection:

Looking back over your project and feedback, describe in 1-2 paragraphs what you
have learned about the process of revision and iteration. Based on your experiences
describe how you might approach this same project if you started again - what would
you do differently, the same, etc.?

Throughout this assignment, I learned that it is important to look at your project in other
people’s perspectives of a specific audience. My target was a younger audience in this
project, therefore I used more modern language and a modernized layout of my
presentation. People of an older audience would not be interested in this app that helps
them find food places to eat because they are a more stubborn age and have their
minds made up before they get in the car to go and eat. I would add more liveliness if I
were to do this project again. It seems like a very simple, yet helpful app and I would
use it, but I want people to continue to use it, so it must be attractive to the eye as well
as useful.

3. Alternative Use / Future directions

In 1-2 paragraphs describe how the technology you focused on for your project might be
used in a way you had not initially considered? What are some real or hypothetical use
cases of the technology that we haven't considered?

I was very caught off guard when we were given this assignment because I have never
heard or seen anyone make an “application” out of using PowerPoint and it was
astonishing to me. I have always assumed that you would need a computer genius to
do so. I showed some of my family and they all believe I am a computer genius now.
Not only can my project be used to find food places in Tempe, but I feel that it would be
used as a great game to play with friends to where they have to try all of the places on
the app or a great way to rate and introduce new upcoming restaurants in Tempe. I feel
using the action buttons to make an “app” can introduce us to making unique academic
or nonacademic games for our own classes when we begin teaching our own classes in
elementary schools. This technology would be so useful and hands-on for my future
students!
