NEET Important Dates 2020


National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the dates of NEET 2020 through an
official notification on August 21, 2019. The important dates of NEET 2020 are listed in
the table below to help candidates keep track of deadline. NEET 2020 application

NEET Eligibility Criteria 2020

Only candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria of NEET can apply and
appear for the test. NEET 2020 eligibility criteria will detail the nationality, age limit of
candidates as well as the qualifying exam studied, subjects and pass percentage for the
same. Check the NEET 2020 eligibility criteria below.

Candidates must at least be 17 years of age by
Age Limit December 31, 2020.
There is no upper age limit.
Candidates must have qualified Class 12 or equivalent
examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-
technology and English as subjects.
Qualification
Candidates appearing for their class 12 or equivalent
are also eligible to appear for the exam.

Each candidate must have scored the following in their


class 12 or equivalent in each subject and in aggregate:
Minimum marks required
in qualifying exam General category candidates - 50%
PwD candidates - 45%
SC/ST/OBC NCL candidates– 40%
Candidates with Biology as an additional subject in
Class 12 are also eligible.
Additional Biology and
Open School students Students who have completed Class 11 and Class 12
from open school are also eligible.(Subject to any new
guidelines that may be announced by NTA).
