Fashion is a custom, a collective skill, specific at a given time to a social environment.

The term "fashionable" usually applies to a person who wears clothes or accessories that are part
of current fashion trends, even if fashion includes several branches. Fashion changes very
quickly; it is enough for someone to discover something better and more beautiful, after which
everyone will want that product, the fashion changing at an incredible speed.
Fashion in clothing is not least the concern for the correctness of clothes, taste, attitude.
Fashion is an "outfit", it is a "style". "Everything must be beautiful in man: the face, the clothing
and the thought and the soul" (Chekhov). Fashion is also an art, like painting, music, literature; it
combines tradition with innovation, classicism with modernism, what what we inherited from the
ancestors with what we model in contemporary times.
In 1947-1957, fashion had only one name: Christian Dior. Great revolutionary of the
post-war period. Dior was the creator who, in a single decade of activity, rewrote the rules of
fashion and opened a new era in haute couture.
Stretching its coverage in all areas of beauty, Dior quickly became a well-known name
both on the catwalk, through clothes that are more impressive, and in specialty shops, through
perfumes or cosmetics, which are in high demand in worldwide. It was and is a brand that has
truly revolutionized fashion, especially in Paris, helping the French capital to conquer the world
of fashion and, above all, it has helped women regain their self-confidence, dressing them in the
finest materials, and giving them the best measures and shapes.

Moda este un obicei, o deprindere colectivă, specifică la un moment dat unui mediu
social. Termenul de "la modă" se aplică de obicei unei persoane care poartă haine sau accesorii
care fac parte din tendințele modei actuale, chiar dacă moda include mai multe ramuri. Moda se
schimbă foarte repede; este suficient ca cineva să descopere ceva mai bun și mai frumos, după
care toată lumea va vrea acel produs, moda schimbându-se cu o viteză incredibilă.
Moda în îmbrăcăminte reprezintă nu în ultimul rând grija pentru corectitudinea hainelor,
a gustului, a atitudinii. Moda este o "ţinuta”, este un "stil”. "La om totul trebuie să fie frumos: şi
faţa, şi îmbrăcămintea şi gândul şi sufletul” (Cehov). Moda este şi ea o artă, la fel ca pictura,
muzica, literatura; ea îmbină tradiţia cu inovaţia, clasicismul cu modernismul, ceea ce am
moştenit de la înaintaşi cu ceea ce modelăm în contemporaneitate.

perioadei postbelice. Dior a fost creatorul care, într-un singur deceniu de activitate, a rescris
regulile modei și a deschis o nouă eră în haute couture.
Intinzandu-si aria de acoperire in toate domeniile frumusetii, Dior a devenit rapid un
nume cunoscut atat pe catwalk, prin haine care mai de care mai impresionante, cat si in magazine
de specialitate, prin parfumurile sau produsele de cosmetica, aflate la mare cautare in intreaga
lume. A fost si este un brand care a revolutionat cu adevarat moda, in special in Paris, ajutand
capitala Frantei sa cucereasca lumea modei si, mai presus, a ajutat femeile sa isi recapete
increderea in sine, imbracandu-le in cele mai fine materiale, si dandu-le cele mai bune masuri si
forme.
