International Space Settlement Competition
Teacher Advisor of the winning team of students, which participated as the only foreign team in the top eight
teams in this year’s Space Settlement Design contest organized under the aegis of NASA and Boeing by the
American Aeronautical and Astronautic Society at USA.
The team made presentations and at the Kennedy Space Centre, Florida, USA from July 17 – 19, 2004.
On our return to India we have been honoured by the following agencies:

· Gave an expert talk to the participants of the International Space Settlement Design Competition organized

1. Attended a two day training programme on Real time FFT analyzer and related equipment for onsite
vibration diagnostics at the premises of M/s OROS in Grenoble, FRANCE. March 29 – April 1, 2004.
2. Participated as a teacher advisor of the team in the finals of the International Space Settlement Design
Competition held at Kennedy Space Centre, Florida, USA from July 16 – July 19, 2004. The team won the
competition.
3. Visited Dubai, in April 2007 to participate in an Indian Education Exhibition organized by Education
Promotion Society of India at GETEX, Dubai
4. Visited Bangkok, Thailand in January 2008 to participate in an Education Exhibition organized by India
