● Title - “Communication in The Field of Medicine”

● Introduction: Communication plays a bigger role in

● Research Objective - To better understand and explain how important and

complex communication in the field of medicine can be. Paper should outline

why and how communication in the field of medicine is important (specifically in

a hospital setting) and how writing and rhetoric (specifically using the SMS

technology program) is related to this. Tentative yes or no research questions to

answer in essay:

Does good health care and good communication have a correlation?

Does communication differ from doctor to doctor, doctor to nurse, doctor to

patient, and nurse to patient?

Answer research questions by searching through academic research, journals, articles on

communication in the medical field. Focus on data such as the frequency of incident reports in

certain departments and categories and discern what might be the causes for this. Finding

research on hospital protocols and what makes them effective or ineffective in terms of

communication and rhetoric.
