Building Permit Process

REQUIREMENTS FOR BUILDING PERMIT

 Barangay Clearance/Certification, Association Certificate, Consent of owner, SPA.


 Transfer Certificate of Title, Tax Declaration, Deed of Absolute Sale, Waiver of Rights, Contract of
Lot Award, DENR Tagging Entry Pass/Stub.
 Contract/Agreement (should include contract price) with general contractor.
 Contract/Agreement (should include contract price) with sub-contractors for Electrical,
Mechanical, Sanitary/Plumbing, Elevators, And all other services required by the developer.
 Fully accomplished application forms:
• Building
• Sanitary/Plumbing
• Electrical
• Mechanical
• Fencing
 5 Sets Of Building Plans And Specification
• Location Plan, Site Development plan, Vicinity Map
• Architectural Plans
• Structural Plans
• Sanitary/Plumbing
• Electrical Plans
• Mechanical Plans/Fire Protection Plan (ifApplicable)
 3 Sets Of
o Structural Design and Computations
o Bill of Materials/Cost Estimates
o Specification
 Large envelope w/ Folder, Faster And (1)Logbook
 5 sets of Proof of Property
o Photocopy of Transfer Certificate if Title (TCT)
o Photocopy of tax Declaration of Property-lot (Certified True Copy)

 Permit Billboard (0.60 X 0.90 Plywood with the following contents):
o Bill of Materials and Specification (5 copies) – signed and sealed by an engineer or an
architect at every page
o Locational Clearance
o Photocopy of PTR # and PRC license of all concerned engineers and architects
o Clearance from the DPWH if the construction is located along National Highway

PROCESS
1. Go to the Municipal’s Office
a. Requirement Checklist.
i. Get a requirements checklist from your municipal’s office.
b. Get the forms and documents
i. You need to get forms and documents from your municipal’s office so that your
engineers and architects can fill them out.
ii. Do not be alarmed if you have no idea of the things listed because your
architect and engineers know about them.
2. Fill Out the Forms
a. Your architects, engineers and professionals sign and fill the forms out.
3. Submit the Forms
a. Submit the forms to the Office of the Building Official
b. From there, they are going to instruct you where you have to go next if they have other
requirements.
4. Go to the Assessor’s Office
a. They would be instructing you to go to the Assessor’s Office where you will be issued an
Acknowledgement Slip which dictates the date of the status of your application.
5. Order of Payment
a. Once your application is approved, you will be issued an Order of Payment to pay all the
necessary permit fees you have to settle.
6. Present the Order of Payment
a. Present the Order of Paymentat the Treasurer’s Office and pay the fees.
7. Present the OR
a. Present a photocopy of the Official Receipt (OR) or if you want, bring the OR itself to the
Office of the Building Official releasing section.
8. Claim Your Permit
a. After 5 business days, go back to the releasing section of the Office of the Building
Official and claim your building permit.

 Professional Fees – 10,000 to 25,000
