Coastal Insulation
Protection

Adding Coastal Insulation Protection (CIP) to the alternator is

a process in which additional insulation coating is applied to
the alternator windings to help withstand the harsh industrial
and coastal environments. The CIP option is recommended
for sites with relative humidity greater than 95%.
