BACKGROUND

Globalization is one phenomenon that cannot be avoided. In the current era of

globalization, national, ethnic, religious or racial boundaries are no longer known. Indonesia as
one of the global population is demanded to continue to develop themselves so that they can
compete to strengthen their existence. In this era without borders, Indonesia must be able to
compete with other countries in the world and the young generation of Indonesia, as the nation's
successors who will compete to show that Indonesia is capable. One way is to represent Indonesia
in international scale activities. Students as one of Indonesia's assets, ideally are not only able to
play a role in the academic field but also must be given space for intellectual development globally
in order to contribute to their country.

For the first time, our PSDM Masters Students Airlangga University opened the initial gate
to collaborate with the Zhejiang University, China by sending two delegations to conduct
Outbound and Visiting Study programs. This program is an effort of Airlangga University to
transform into an international standard university towards 500 World Class University through
the exchange of material in education and research, publications and academic information, as well
as being directly involved in collaborative research / research on an international scale.

In addition, this program will have a positive impact on Postgraduate schools especially
the Master's Degree in HR as a means to promote and introduce postgraduate schools Airlangga
University to the Chinesse. For long-term goals, it is expected to attract Chinesse students to
continue their studies, inbound and make double degree scholarship agreements
 PURPOSE

Visiting study can increase understanding and better application of PSDM S2

students scientific references from various theories obtained from lectures in class and
directly see students about the process of using technology and learning used between
Zheijang University, Faculty of Social Sciences China and S2 PSDM at Airlangga
University Surabaya

 ACTIVITIES

The Outbound Program was held for ten days in April, with a plan of activities prepared
by the Master's Student of PSDM Airlangga University. Arriving participants in Hangzhou.
Participants will visit the Zheijang University, Faculty of Social Sciences, China. Sit in the class
with courses related to business, management and HR management, Joint activities of Indonesian
Student Association. In addition, visit to the Government and Industry Offices to learn how HR

management application in the office so that participants get an understanding holistically.
