The group was assigned to do a brunch meal for adolescence and they decided to cook Chicken
Barley Soup, Egg omelet and Fried rice.

Princess and Mariz were assigned to buy all the ingredients for the said activity. Unfortunately,
they weren’t able to take photos of them buying the ingredients because they were rushing and it
slipped out of their minds.
Wash all the ingredients to ensure that to ensure they are clean and to help remove bacteria
from the outside.
After making sure that the chicken is properly cleaned, place chicken in a large saucepan. Cover
with water. Bring to the boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, covered,
for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Multitask. While waiting for the chicken to cook. Peel the carrots, and potatoes then slice it
together with the onion and garlic.
In a large saucepan, mix the sliced carrots, and potatoes together with the onion and garlic,
mushrooms and green peas.
Next is the Fried rice. Mix the clove garlic and cubed carrots. Then add a cup of cooked rice and
put a 2 tbsp of soy and ½ can of green peas.

Lastly is the Egg Omelet. Stir the bowl of egg while waiting for the frying pan to be heated enough
for cooking.

This is the final outcome of the group’s chosen Brunch meal for Adolescence.
