Development of Low Alkali Activated Fly Ash Cement January 2013 – Present
 Develop a novel method to activate the cementitious network of fly ash with low alkali solution.
 Work involves the study of mechanical properties, microstructure analysis, phase analysis which requires strong
analytical skills.
Development of Porous Materials June 2013 – Present
 Develop novel method for making porous oxides and porous ceramics.
CO2 Sequestration January 2013 – Present
 Develop novel materials that can sequester carbon-di-oxide.

Investigation of Crack Propagation in Thin Plate September 2011 – May 2012
 Investigated Crack propagation phenomenon in thin plates for different loading modes (Mode-I, Mode-II & Mixed
mode loading).
 Work involved Cohesive Zone Modeling and the analysis of sensitivity of the loading velocity, crack extension in
different operating conditions using ANSYS.
Design and Construction of a Briefcase Body by Die-Casting March 2008 – April 2009
 Designed a die and injector for casting process.
 Completed detailed investigation on casting defects resulting in several prevention methods suggested.

Design and Manufacturing Process of a Pinion Shaft January 2013 – May 2013
 Developed process planning and operation sheets for pinion shaft manufacturing.
 Submitted report on the sequence of machining operations, selection of machine tools and cutting parameters.
Robotic Basketball Competition August 2012 – December 2012
 Designed and built air canon for throwing basketballs.
 Calculated required airflow, impact loading, and conducted stress analysis.
Making and Testing of Simple Composite Beam August 2012 – December 2012
 Fabricated and tested mechanical strength of simple composite beams.
 Developed program using MATLAB for calculating the theoretical strength values to justify the experimental data.
