PA – SYSTEM:

MUST BE:
well known, good quality active (at least 3 way) system (eq. D&B, Meyer Sound, L-Acoustic, Nexo etc.)
factory manufactured (including speakers, amplifiers and processors)
flown whenever possible (except subs)
in stereo
tuned, time aligned and stacked by professionals

MUST PRODUCE:
110dB SPL (slow A) at F.O.H. position
flat frequency response on whole audio bandwidth (except subs +12dB)
equal frequency response and sound pressure level to whole audience area incl. near fills and delay lines

F.O.H. SOUND PROCESSING EQUIPMENT:

MUST INCLUDE:
professional mixing console, analog or digital, at least 35 free channels for solely Finntroll use
if analog, professional outboard gear connected as listed in channel list sheet (7 gates, 12 compressors, 3 fx)
good quality master eq with easy access
talkback to stage
3,5mm plug for intro/outro tape as listed
Master insert with xlr i/o

MONITOR SYSTEM:

MUST BE:
well known, loud and clear, good quality system (eq. D&B, Meyer Sound, L-Acoustic, Nexo etc.)

MUST INCLUDE:
at least 4 wedges located as in stage map (double wedges (8pcs) preferred), no drum or keyboard
wedges or iem feeds (except back track return line) needed
powerful sidefills on big stages
one return line from foh to monitor console and the other one to the drum riser (talk back and back track)
professional mixing console with at least 20 free channels solely for Finntroll use
good enough outboard gear and eq for the house monitor technician to do his/her job as well as possible

SOUND MISC:

HOUSE OR PROMOTER MUST PROVIDE:

drum riser 2 x 3 m (H:40-60cm)
all cables and stands needed & listed (band will need 8 extra xlr cables to connect their own iem system)
backline power located as in stage map

HOUSE CREW:
stage manager to show us our preparing space on stage before the show and provide assistance on technical
issues concerning this rider
promoters assistant to take care of our backstage area and our needs from arrival until the end of the show
professional front-of-house tehnician with excellent operating skills and knowledge of provided equipment,
present in front-of-house from soundcheck until the end of the show
professional operating, english or finnish speaking monitor technician (we don't have our
own monitor tech) from soundcheck until the end of the show
4 stage hands from load-in to load-out to help our stage crew with backline and lights
