We live in the clouds

High above the rest
Even if it’s only temporary
It makes me feel like a bird

I wonder if the planes can see me

If the bees and butterflies question
As I look out my balcony
The cool breeze wrapped around me

Other people may think that it’s too cramped

Or that the microwave’s too loud
Or that our dog barks too much
But my only complaint is that it’s too far of a walk
