Introduction
The Complete Cleanup 5.05 software deletes cookies, cache, and history files stored by
browsers (Internet Explorer, FireFox, Netscape), temporary internet files, recycle bin, URL
history, and media cache stored on the computer, which consumes disk space. You can
schedule auto-cleanup process, with and without rebooting the system.

Starting up Complete Cleanup Software

To start the Complete Cleanup software:
1) Click Start > All Programs > Complete Cleanup.
The following Complete Cleanup screen is displayed.

The Complete Cleanup software is divided into the following sections:

4. Cookie Cleanup
5. Cache Cleanup
6. Other Cleanups

File Statistics For Your System

Displays the total number of Internet Explorer, FireFox, Netscape, and other browser’s
cookies, cache, and history files present on your system (the total number of bytes wasted).

Extra Cleanups
What You View
1) Click What You View to see various types of file, documents, and videos that you recently
viewed or visited.
The following window is displayed.

2) Click Remove Highlighted to remove the selected file.

3) Click Remove All to remove all the files.
4) Click Return to go back to the Complete Cleanup screen.

Instant Messages
1) Click Instant Messages to display the instant messages found on your system and also
checks for any old instant messages and existing user IDs.
The following screen is displayed.

2) Click View IM to view the instant messages found on your system.

3) Click Remove to remove the selected instant messages.
4) Click Return to go back to the Complete Cleanup screen.

Run and Search

1) Click Run and Search to search for recently executed or viewed program and/or searched for
programs using find options.
The following screen is displayed.

2) On the left pane, click Remove Highlighted to view the programs executed or searched on
your system.
3) On the right pane, click Remove Highlighted to remove what you searched for using Find
options.
4) Click Return to go back to the Complete Cleanup screen.

Search Engine
1) Click Search Engine and Auto Form Cleanup to clear the auto-entries on Internet Explorer
and also auto-saved user IDs and passwords.
The following screen is displayed.

2) Click Clear Search Engines or Passwords to clear auto-saved passwords and entries made
on Internet Explorer.
3) Click Return to go back to the Complete Cleanup screen.

Duplicate Files
1) Click Duplicate Files to scan your hard disk drives to find the files with duplicate names along
with the details and size.
The following screen is displayed.

2) Click Duplicate Names to scan and display the files on your system.
3) Click Duplicate Patterns to scan and display the files matching based on patter on your
system.
4) Click Delete – Recycle Bin to delete the files in the recycle bin.
5) Click View Highlighted File to view the selected file.

6) From the drop-down menu, select the name of the disk drive you want to scan for the
duplicate files on your system.
7) Click Return to go back to the Complete Cleanup screen.

Scan / Search
1) Click Scan / Search to scan for all photos, videos, and cached thumbnails present in your
system.
The following screen is displayed.

2) Click Find Files Now to search for photos, video clips, and cached thumbnails in your system.
3) Click Delete (Recycle Bin) to delete the files from recycle bin.
4) Select either Photos, Video Clips, or Cached Thumbs.
5) From the drop-down menu, choose the letter of your hard disk drive to be scanned for the
photos, video clips, and cached thumbnails.
6) Click Return to go back to the Complete Cleanup screen.

System Review
Click System Review to view the review log of your system.

Internal Cleanups
1) Click Internal Cleanups to clean up background services, BHO browser objects, and
programs that automatically run while rebooting the system.
The following screen is displayed.

2) Select System Startup tab to remove the program(s) on system startup by selecting the
programs to be removed and click Remove From Startup to remove from startup.
3) Select BHO Objects tab, choose the BHO objects to be disabled or removed.
4) Select View All Processes to display all the currently active programs and processes.
5) Select View All Services to display all the currently running services.
6) Click Return to go back to the Complete Cleanup screen.

Performance
1) Click Performance to view the statistics of your system like total RAM memory on your
system, RAM memory currently available, percentage of RAM memory available, maximum
storage in swap file, available swap file space, and percentage of swap file available.

2) Click Defrag to open up disk defragmenter and select the drives to be defragmented.
3) Click Explain to view the advantages of defragmentation.
4) Click Return to go back to Complete Cleanup screen.

Locked Files
1) Click Locked Files to remove the locked internet files on start up which cannot be deleted
while the system is running.

2) Select Always perform locked file cleanup when rebooting to delete the locked files on
rebooting the system.
3) Select Do not perform locked file cleanup to disable deleting the locked files.
4) Click Return to go back to Complete Cleanup screen.

Cache Viewer
1) Click Cache Viewer to list all the cache files.

2) Select Show all cache files to display all the cached files present on the system.
3) Select Show only viewable cache files to display only viewable cache files.
4) Click Reload to reload the cache files.
5) Click OK to go back to Complete Cleanup screen.

CC Settings
1) Click CC settings to select the drive to be scanned, auto cleanup, save cookies, and to load
entire temporary folder.

2) Click Open Scan Window to scan the selected drive.

3) Click Auto Cleanup to schedule for auto cleanup.
4) Click Keep Cookies to save the cookies which are not to be deleted.
5) Check Load Entire Temp Folder to load the entire temporary folder.
6) Click Return to go back to Complete Cleanup screen.

Skins
1) Select the desired background skin from the Skin Choices.

2) Click Apply to apply the selected background skin.

History Cleanup
Click History Cleanup to delete the history stored by Internet Explorer or FireFox/Netscape
browsers.

Cookie Cleanup
Click Cookie Cleanup to delete the cookies stored by Internet Explorer or FireFox/Netscape
browsers.

Cache Cleanup
Click Cache Cleanup to delete the internet explorer or FireFox/Netscape browser cached
files.

Other Cleanups
Click Other Cleanups to delete URL history and other junk files stored on your computer
by the browsers.

Your Own Cleanups

Click Your Own Cleanups to customize and add the directory, folder(s), or file(s) s to be
deleted.

Cleanup All
Click Cleanup All to delete the cache, cookies, and history stored by the browsers.

Customize the Cleanup All button

Check/uncheck to delete/undelete the cache, cookies, and history stored by the browser,
and also to delete temporary files, files in recycle bin, recently opened documents, URL
history, junk files, and media files history on your system.

Click Help to display the Help topics and FAQ.

About
Click About to display version of the installed Complete Cleanup software.

Exit
Click Exit to exit Complete Cleanup software.
