LEARNING PLAN SUBJECT: PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT GRADE LEVEL 11 DATE OCTOBER 4-8, 2019

S.Y. 2019-2020 TEACHER: JEMSON FERRAREN WEEK NO: 1 SESSIONS 4

LEARNING The learners explain that knowing oneself can make a person accept his/her strengths and limitation as well as dealing with the others

I. LESSON UNIT 1: SELF-DEVELOPMENT


CONTENT/TOPIC 1. Knowing Oneself
The learners will able to...
1. Define what is self and how is it related to personality
LEARNING OBJECTIVES 2. Comprehend the importance of knowing oneself and acknowledging strengths and weaknesses toward personal
development
3. Share dimensions of self and create a journal entry

II. PROCEDURES TEACHING PROCEDURES AND STRATEGIES TEACHING MATERIALS


On a ½ crosswise, the teacher will ask the students to answer the following:
a. Right now, can you say that you already know what you want?
A. ELICIT (Introduction/Review) b. What are your strengths?
c. Do you know what to improve on? DLP
d. Do you know why do you act the way you do?
e. Can you say that you know who you are?

The teacher will post the questions:

Day 1 Class rules and subject matter. The teacher will lay down the class
rules to the class and also explain the projects and what the students
shall prepare for the subject. The teacher will also introduce the
subject’s specific overview and what they can look forward in class.
The teacher will also introduce some general ideas on “SELF” by
asking the students on what do they understand when they hear the
word.
Day 2  Students will be presented with an overview of the chapter
lesson. The teacher will discuss the section about defining the
concept of the self, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and
the importance of valuing oneself.
 My unique self- in this activity the teacher will ask the students  DLP

which, the teacher will select 5-6 students to share their feelings
and thoughts about the activity.

Day 3  The teacher will continue the discussion on the concept of the
self, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and the importance
of valuing oneself.
 “Agreeing with Myself”- the teacher will instruct the student to
write an agreement with myself document , make the students
list down the things they desire to know more about themselves
and the changes they want to work on to improve as persons.
The teacher will make them sign this document. At the end of
the semester, this document will be returned to the students so
that they will be able to see what they have accomplished
throughout the semester.
Day 4 Summative Quiz and Recapitulation of the Topics

The teacher will divide the class into five groups. The students will write their

himself/herself in relation to what others perceive him/her on their journal.
