Enrichment Title SOP

Pre Requisite:
1. Input should contain ASIN, contribution_id, item_name, item_type_name, size_name,
color_name, number_of_items, brand_name, upc, ean, gtin, updated_by_user, and
productgroup to work with titles.
2. If any mandatory information is missing please sideline those line items (e.g.
brand_name, part_number, item_type_name)
3. Sideline the items with has invalid data in as their values (eg: NA, #N/A and blanks)
4. Check for duplication of brand name and part number combination and sideline the
duplicating items.

Size Name:
1. Remove invalid values in the size name attribute (eg: NA, #N/A, Not Applicable, color
names etc.,) from catalog
2. If the dimension units are missing in the size name attribute, check with manufactures
website or detail page. If we don’t find any data relevant to dimension units, remove the
attribute
3. Replace the dimension units as listed the replacing format sheet
4. Other words should be in proper case for e.g. Short, Long etc.
5. Correct the spell errors
6. Change the replacing format as in the format sheet.
Color Name:
1. Remove invalid values in the color name attribute (eg: NA, #N/A, Not Applicable, size
names etc.) from catalog
2. Correct the spell errors
3. Use proper casing in the attribute
Note: If there are multiple colors listed in the attribute for eg: Black and Blue or Black, Blue etc.
retain vendor provided data.

Brand name:

1. Remove Special characters such as “™”, “®”, Ltd., Inc., Corp., LLC., .STD, Mfg,
Corporation, Manufacturer, Incorporated, Limited, Company and Co
Number of items:

1. Concatenate the vendor provided value in this column.

Item Type Name:

1. Remove Hyperlink
2. Remove duplicate words in the title
3. Remove Special characters such as “™”, “®”, Ltd., Inc., Corp., LLC., .STD, Mfg,
Corporation, Manufacturer, Incorporated, Limited, Company and Co
4. All prepositions should be in lower case (Except for "The")
5. Remove Spell errors
6. The title should be in proper casing
7. Remove Restricted words (Bamboo, Free, Environment/eco Friendly, Amazon and
pricing information)
8. Use replacing format as listed in the replacing format sheet

Style Guide:

Brand_name + Part_number + item_type_name + ”,” + Size_name + “,” + Color_name + “(Pack

of n)”

Note 1: If number of items is greater than 1, the information should be added in the title in the
format (Pack of “n”)

Note 2: Upload the validated titles with the respective vendor codes, also upload the size and
color attribute if required.
