Gonzalez, Ph.D. reves City Mana As we pass the two-year mark of our administration, please allow me to share some highlighted accomplishments we have achieved during this time. We are especially proud of our stewardship of taxpayer resources that has resulted in the current year’s adopted operating budget being lower than last year's amended operating budget, the second lowest millage rate in 55 years, and the city’s highest ever bond rating. We look forward to working together to continue placing our residents on a pathway to prosperity and improving our quality of life while making our neighborhoods safer and more resilient. HB 385- Transportation by Representative Bryan Avila changes the transportation % penny surtax formula to benefit the City of Miami. In 2022, the total percentage of funds that will be allocated to municipalities within Miami-Dade County increase to 25%.
