Core Subject Description: This course uses insights from Anthropology, Political Science, and Sociology to develop students’ awareness of cultural, social and political dynamics, and
sensitivity to cultural diversity; provide them with an understanding of how culture, human agency, society and politics work; and engage them in the examination of the country’s current
human development goals. At the end of the course, students should acquire ideas about human cultures, human agency, society and politics; recognize cultural relativism and social
inclusiveness to overcome prejudices; and develop social and cultural competence to guide their interactions with groups, communities, networks, and institutions.

Culminating Performance Standard: The learners are able to perform a presentation showing the awareness of cultural, social and political dynamics and sensitivity to cultural diversity
to develop better interactions with groups, communities and different institutions.

Performance Task: The Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Social Studies will going to watch a production about the understanding culture, society and politics this year. You as the
director together with your staff are the responsible for this kind of preparation. The topic of your play should discuss the awareness of cultural, social and political dynamics and
sensitivity to cultural diversity to develop better interactions with groups, communities and different institutions. Work with your group for planning and prepare everything needed
before the play for best result and also provide questionnaires for the reflection of audiences. This production is expected to receive good feedback and what are the lessons
learned from audience, the documentary, script and role as production staff.
This will be evaluated according to the following criteria: Cooperation/Unity (15 %), Content (40%), Creativity (35%), and Audience Impact (10%).
