INTRODUCTION

Research Questions (if research questions are not specifically mentioned, what
is the theoretical background or overarching theme):
This article is about the use of IPads and other technology devises. The
implement of IPads at education and the role of administrators at using a new
tool at elementary and secondary schools. How are the school teachers are
trained and prepared for innovations? How administrators do professional
development trainings for teachers? Hoe teachers gain technology skills and
knowledge?
The article is mostly about the importance of leadership on using IPads and
other innovative devises in schools.

Purpose of the research:

The purpose of this article is to show the implementation of IPads in
educational directions around the world. After providing IPads to school
administration encouraging teachers to implement in school systems. The
research study shows the training process, workshops, online research,
ongoing support. The developed study was based on the experiences of faculty
member at a small private university at some city.
Overall the purpose of this research was to determine the efficiency of using
IPads for administrative purposes after school administrators had attended a
training process.

METHODOLOGY
What is the methodology for the research or approach used to understand the
issue? Provide information regarding the following:

Participants:
Administrators from Elementary and Secondary schools were working at
some largest charter schools in the city. Participants were volunteers.
IPads were provided.

Procedures:

Training had structure based on feedback from participants and studied

through an interactive webinar session. The training of school
administrators had topics intended to develop iPad skills and use certain
workflow, also implementations such as
note-taking, calendar, productivity, file-sharing, remote-desktop,
presentation,
and screen-sharing applications covered specifically from a principal’s
perspective.

Data Collection Methods/Data Source:

The data analysis of this study has five main groups: 1.analysis of
demographic and contextual data; 2.impacts of the training process on
school administrators’ use of iPad and iPad applications;3. impacts of
the training process on school administrators’ beliefs regarding how
teachers use iPads in the classroom; 4.differences in participants’
responses by their demographic and contextual data (gender, age, years
of experience in their school.
5.administration and education, highest degree attained, school size.

Data Analysis:
Prior to the training process, almost 68% of the school administrators
found their iPad skills and knowledge as intermediate to advanced.
After the training process, school administrators reported increases in
the IPad skills and knowledge. According to the results of the post-
survey, nearly 80%
of school administrators considered their iPad skills and knowledge at
the level of intermediate to advanced.
The school administrators believed that iPads were effective Commented [NY1]:

RESULTS

Findings or Results (or main points of the article): This research was organized
to determine the efficiency of using IPads for administrative purposes after
school administrators attended a training.
The analysis of demographic and contextual data found that the majority of
schools participating were K-12 (62.75%) and 49.02% had a master's degree.
21.43% of participants responded that iPad's best feature was "being mobile".
There was a decrease of 18.92% in the participant's personal rating of
themselves as a "beginner in iPad skills". 23.84% of responses indicated that
participants used iPads mainly for "education" purposes. Before the study, the
mean rating (rated out of 5) of the iPad's effectiveness in administrative task
was a 3.73. However, after the study, the mean score increased to a 4.27. After
the study, the responses to using iPads for class communication increased
from 11.59% to 13.22% and creating applications for students increased from
15.88% to 16.67%. Finally 81.08% of school administrators would like to
continue the training and 48.65% of participants revealed that the training was
"very useful".

DISCUSSIONS

Conclusions/Implications (for your profession):The schools implementing an

innovations such as technology devises especially IPads were much more
effective in learning.

REFLECTIONS

Student’s Reflections (changes to your understanding; implications for your

school/work):
