Email Calendar Notes

Based on the success of our 2016 Boom Holiday Promo, we’ve divided the BOOM Holiday
Calendar into 6 mini campaigns and 4 product callouts.
6 Mini Campaigns
● Black Friday / Cyber Monday - Our biggest sale days, we’ll send 3 emails on 11/24 and
11/27.
● Welcome the Holidays - Transition from Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale to Holiday
Sale. Fun, festive, on-brand creative
● Last Chance Standard Shipping
○ Full-sized piece of creative for 12/8, 12/11 and 12/12.
○ Banner/smaller piece of creative to include in the product callouts on 12/9 and
12/20
● Last Chance Two-Day Shipping - Last time we’ll be selling physical products during sale
● Gift Card (Last Minute Buyers) - Once shipping ends, we could offer gift cards for
last-minute gift buyers
● Repeat Buyer Campaign - When someone makes a purchase, we reach out and give
them an additional coupon to use during the sale. We would then continue to include
them in 1 or 2 sales emails from each mini campaign.
○ Creative needed:
■ 1 email thanking them and giving them their coupon
■ a variation of 1 or 2 pieces of creative for each mini campaign to use in
the repeat buyer emails. Maybe even just a badge that goes over the

normal creative to note their special discount.
■ 3 email closing sequence: Coupon expires tomorrow, coupon expires
tonight, coupon expires in 5 hours (the closing sequence would line up
with the closing of standard shipping)
4 Product Callouts
During these product callouts, the sale remains the same — there’s no additional discount — but
to add variation to our communications, we highlight a few different products/bundles.
● 11/25 and 11/26: B OOM Bags

● 12/6: S ilk
● 12/9 and 12/10: B OOM Bags
