PROJECTS
Underground Metro Rail Project:-

Currently working as a Design Engineer at L&T (EDRC) for Mumbai

Underground Metro Line 3.
Stations works:-
 Design and review of 2 underground metro stations; prepared 3-D model
of station in STAAD.
 Preparation of detailed working drawings for site execution.
 Involved in the preparation of structural schemes and designs as per site
requirements.
 BOQ preparation and its verification with the tender quantities.
Optimization in structural quantities.
 Providing structural solutions to the problems faced during execution.
 Checking of formwork on site before execution of slabs, columns, walls.
 Closing of RFIs related to design issue and providing additional detailed
drawings for the same.
 Co-ordination with MEP, Architecture.
NATM works:-
 Involved in the planning, design and execution of NATM works at Marol
Naka underground metro station
 Modelled and designing of 3-D NATM tunnel in STAAD PRO.
 Prepared the BOQ for NATM construction works (which further used for
the NATM budget works.)
 Review of excavation profile, face mapping and I &M reports received from
site.
 Preparation of drawings for excavation profile marking, construction
sequence of NATM.
 Prepared the presentations for the MMRC (client) about NATM
construction methodology and sequence.
 Client approval for design.
 Key skills acquired in the projects:

 3-D modelling, analysing, designing and detailing of horizontal and

vertical structural elements (columns, beams, slabs, foundations and shear
walls). Ductile detailing in high seismic zone areas.
 Experience in design of underground metro works. Design of NATM
tunnel.
 Experience in working different stages in a project such as concept design
stage, design development, final design stage and site co-ordination.
 Completed projects on REVIT structures, AUTOCAD, Naviswork by co-
ordination with other disciplines.
 Proficient in the hand calculations to give quick solutions to the structural
problems. Preparation of design excels sheets for structural calculations.
 Experience in leading a team of junior engineers.
 Always aim to complete designs from economical, sustainability and
buildability point of view.

INTERNSHIP
I worked as a site engineer at Thane, Mumbai on a 12 storey tower from May 2010
to July 2010.
Tasks performed: Footing position marking, checking of beam and column
reinforcement details as per drawing. Supervision of the batching and
proportioning of concrete during slab, beam and column casting.

preparing towards the charteredship status.
ACHIEVEMENTS
1. First class with distinction in Master of Technology at Indian Institute of
Technology, Roorkee. First class with distinction in Bachelor of
Technology at V.J.T.I., Mumbai.
2. Secured a position among top 80 students from India to attend a program
on Earthquake Engineering, ‘Kizuna’ at Japan in February 2013.
3. Invited and attended an International Conference on Earthquake
Engineering at Skopje, Republic of Macedonia to present a paper in May-
June 2013.
4. Stood 14th in Merit list in 10th standard (S.S.C.:- Secondary School
Certificate examination) in Mumbai.
