Each engine equipped with a water regulator housing contains a 4W3108 Check Valve that allows air
to bleed from the system during filling.

During routine maintenance and/or overhaul, it is recommended to replace the check valve in the
water regulator housing. During overhaul of a machine engine with separate circuit aftercooling, the
check valves should also be replaced.
