Web Part Description

DOL SharePoint The DOL landing page is accessible to any user who has been granted permission to
home page DOL SharePoint. Custom features include:
 Technical support information
 Site listing web part
 Audience specific links (provisioning requests, training, reference materials)
Site Listing web The Site Listing web part is located on the DOL SharePoint homepage and it displays end
part user links for every site collection/sub-site to which they have access.
Unified Unified provisioning provides a single global request process from a single location to
provisioning approve workspaces for clients, internal, and local DOL sites. This will provide increased
ease of use through simplification and consolidation of existing processes to a central
location.
It will provide faster creation of required collaboration spaces given automated approval.
Template During the site provisioning process, internal users can choose from a list of global
management functional templates or choose a basic template. DOL SharePoint has a group of
“template owners” who manage their functional templates, including any updates or
defining new templates for their function.
Integration with DPass is the external Active Directory for DOL SharePoint. External user profiles are first
DPass created in DPass before an external user can be granted permissions.
This feature is available only for the external farm.
External Member EMM securely allows external user access to Deloitte OnLine SharePoint. This process
Management (EMM) consists of two steps:
1. The Site Collection Administrator (SCA) creates/adds external users specific for
that site collection within the external active directory (DPass)
2. Site Collection Administrators and Site Owners can then grant permissions to
external users by selecting them from People Picker
Note: External members will not be assigned full control permissions.
This feature is available only for the external farm.
Customized people This feature allows the Site Collection Administrator/ Site Owner to add a new user to
picker ADFS as support administrator. It also enables them to grant permissions to users from
the internal and external Active Directories using people picker.
The internal farm will use a different people picker, and will allow to add ADFS groups.
