Armijo Family
Update
Serving in Northern Chile
Happy Thanksgiving
We hope that you enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving time together with friends and family. Our
God is so good and there are so many ways that He has been generous with His people. For us
personally we have seen God’s hand in every moment of our time here in the U.S. supplying our
every need. Another reason to be thankful is for the many brethren in Christ that have helped to
supply those needs. Thank you, each of you who have helped us to have our own home, each
item supplied, friendships and opportunities for our children to make their time enjoyable here.
God is good!

Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.
The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack
any good thing. Psalms 34:8

Family
The children are doing well in our homeschool. Being the teacher has demanded a lot of time
from Robyn but the kids are learning a lot. Jacqueline is learning to read, but she doesn’t enjoy
as much as math; she just loves to add and subtract! Miguel is beginning to think about his
future studies; in October we went with him to visit Liberty for a weekend, he was impressed by
the size and enjoyed experiencing college life. Pray with us so that he will make the best
decision where to study. Miguel and Natalia have been enjoying attending youth group at
Berachah Church, they have made many friends and Miguel enjoys being part of the youth
worship team. Natalia is showing interest in music now and has been persistent in teaching
herself guitar online. In just a few weeks she is playing well and we are encouraging her to help
us in music ministry when we return to Iquique.

Residency Renewal
We are still waiting to receive the residency document to be able to return to Chile. All of us,
especially the children, are anxious to return and the children ask everyday when we are going
back. Continue to pray for this as we had imagined to be back in Chile by now.

25 Ladies attended the 1st Ladies Retreat

Over the past year Robyn enjoyed planning the first ladies retreat for our church. She arranged
for another missionary lady to come from Santiago to speak and found a nice “Bed & Breakfast”
in downtown Iquique near the beach where the ladies could enjoy physical and spiritual
refreshment. Thanks to Debbie, Stephanie, Kim (our colleagues) and some church ladies, who all
worked together to pull off the details that made this weekend a success. All of the ladies
expressed great satisfaction on having participated in a ladies retreat for the first time in their
lives.

Upcoming Activities at
Iquique Church
November is Missions Month at Missionary
Baptist Church in Iquique. This past week
there was a national pastor/missionary (ex-
convict) from Santiago, who has a special
ministry with preaching and discipling
believers in a prison. Alejandro had the
opportunity to preach in the prison last March
and he in turn invited Pastor Feliu to preach
in Missions Month at our church. The church
Teens who help in Children’s Club people really enjoyed his powerful testimony.
Pray for this last missions Sunday where the
members will renew their faith promise for
missions (currently our church supports 4
missionary families).

The last Married Couples' dinner will be

this Saturday. Pray for the unsaved that will
be invited.

December holds an evangelistic Ladies'

Christmas meal.

December 19th will be our Christmas

September’s Married Couples’ Program where many visitors will here the
meeting gospel.
Scholarships for Camp
This summer at the end of January, for the 3rd time, we will be sending a bus load of
young people to camp in Santiago. This has been a very fruitful ministry and many
young people have come to know Christ as their Savior and are now actively
participating in our church’s youth group and Sunday services. Most of the youth at our
church have come to know Christ through this outreach that we do. The impact of
attending a Christian camp and hearing the gospel has been tremendous in their lives.
Many of you have had an important part in giving money to sponsor these young people
and we want to challenge you once again to sponsor scholarships of $100/camper.
Please send your support to: ABWE, PO Box 8585, Harrisburg, PA 17105 For: Summer
Camp- Alejandro Armijo, account # 13146, sub-account #003.
