Select
What standards or LOs were being addressed in the lesson?
Students will be able to Identify the deferent between system and technology.
How did you cater for learners with special needs, and for differentiation?
Emergent level: I give each them white paper and a set of pictures and set of words about
technology. The student must match the pictures with words, then paste on the white paper.
Development level: I give each them white paper and a set of pictures about technology. the
students paste the picture on the white paper then write down the name of each picture.
Master level: They will have a table divided into three part like our needs, effect society and
effect nature and set of picture the student must start to sort the correct pictures in the correct
categories.
At the end of the lesson, give all the students an exit ticket and ask them to writing three names
of technological devices.

How did you use positive reinforcement? Methods? For what? While students were activity, I used
positive words, like good, excellent and good work.

How did you sequence or scaffold activities so that they built gradually towards the learning
objectives?
I started displaying pictures using the Smart Board. After that, I explained to them about the types
of technological devices, then gave the students an activity according to their level. Finally, class
students mention the names of technological devices in our lives.

Overall aim and context of the lesson (that is, describe the lesson’s place in the unit of work.
What did students need to know before today’s LOs were addressed? What topic comes next and
how did today’s lesson prepare students for that?) It was a unit about the living world. In this
lesson students should know what technology and its types are. Students also learned a new
vocabulary about technology.

Describe
Who is the lesson for? The lesson was for third-grade boys and girls.
Where did the lesson take place? The lesson was explained in the science classroom.
What were you aiming to achieve in your lesson? In this lesson, I aimed to teach students the
impact of technology on our life and the environment around us.
What experiences did you provide to the students to help them to achieve your aims for them? I
used the pictures as I show many examples of technology.
Analyze
Were students excited, always occupied, and remained on task during the lesson?
The students very enjoyed and excited during their work on an activity as the students correctly
classified the technology images.
Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
I think students interacted well with the lesson. As the students worked hard in classification the
technology images, because the images made the lesson concept clear to the students. According
to Bruno's theory, learning using images helps students better understand information.
How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
To make sure of students' prior knowledge and activate them, ask students for examples of
technological devices that are used in our lives.
Appraise
Explain the nature of the experience from the students’ perspective. It was a very enjoyable and
useful experience. Where visual such as pictures were used to present the lesson, making it easier
for students to understand the lesson and learn better.
Did your lesson meet your teaching goals? Use your students’ performance on the end of lesson
assessment as support. Yes, the lesson has achieved my educational goals, where students have
been able to sort the technology pictures correctly.
Transform
How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future?
In the future if I teach students for this lesson, I will use some devices of technology for students
and ask them to use them so that students have knowledge and understanding of the difference
between system and technology.

What are the implications for your professional practice of helping students to enhance their
learning in this particular way? (i.e. what skill will you have to develop or learn? What
professional development will you have to undertake?)
Students will be able to give examples of technology. Where they became to have a clear
knowledge of the technology.
