I. OBJECTIVES a. Distinguish characteristics of a mobile texttula;

b. Compose a texttula with the use of mobile phones.

A. Content Standard The learner will be able to understand and appreciate the elements and contexts of 21st century Philippine literature from the regions.
B. Study and appreciation of literary texts from the different regions written in different genres covering: 1. regions in Luzon, Visayas,
Mindanao 2. major genres (poetry, fiction, drama, creative nonfiction, as well as hyperpoetry, blogs, mobile phone Texttula, chick lit,
speculative fiction, flash fiction, etc.)
B. Performance Standard The learner will be able to demonstrate understanding and appreciation of 21st Century Philippine literature from the regions through a
written close analysis and critical interpretation of a literary text in terms of form and theme, with a description of its context.

C. Learning Competencies/Objectives Produce or compose a creative representation of a literary text ( Mobile Texttula )

II. CONTENT/ SUBJECT/ MATTER : Mobile Phone Texttula

III. LEARNING RESOURCES List the materials to be used in different days. Varied sources of materials sustain children’s interest in the lesson and in learning. Ensure
that there is a mix of concrete and manipulative materials as well as paper based materials. Hands –on learning promote concept
development.

7777 or 8888 syllable count with rhyme scheme aabb, abab, abba.

E. Discussing new concepts and practicing Let the students read the work of Sony Valencia and ask them to identify the rhyme scheme of the given texttula.

G. Finding practical application of Ask them to compose a stanza of a texttula in their phone. Allow them to use one cellphone only. Give them 5 minutes to do
concepts and skills in daily living it and ask them to screen shot and present it on class.
