Dear Students / Scholars,

Sub: Fees Circular for Jan-May 2020 Semester – reg.

Following are the fees structure for Jan-May 2020 semester. The students/scholars are required
to pay as noted against their fees category as per schedule given in Annexures.

 Indian Nationals (for current students/scholars) → Annexure-I

 Foreign Nationals (for current students / scholars) → Annexure-II
 Indian / Foreign Nationals (for new scholars to be admitted in Jan-May 2020)→
Annexure-III

 All the students / scholars (including HTTA/HTRA students / scholars) have to pay their
semester fees directly through online as per PDF fee table applicable to the category of the
students/scholars concerned.

 Dual degree students (2015 & earlier Batch) have to pay M.Tech fees from 9th semester
onwards.
 Students/Scholars are permitted to pay the Institute fees in installments however full fees
has to be paid on or before 31st March 2020.
 The last date for payment of Hostel Fees is 15th January 2020 for
Hostellers & Day Scholars
 ALL MARRIED SCHOLARS/STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL
AMOUNT OF Rs.700/- TOWARDS AVAILING MEDICAL FACILITY FOR THEIR
SPOUSE/MINOR CHILD.
 For payment of INSTITUTE fees --- click the link ‘Academic Fee Payment
Portal’ at https://www.iitm.ac.in/academics
 For payment of HOSTEL fees --- http://ccw.iitm.ac.in (or)https://dost.iitm.ac.in
 Day Scholars have to pay Gymkhana Fees, Establishment ‘A’ Charges &
Medical Insurance in Hostel Payment portal mentioned above.
The procedure for fee payment for Jan-May 2020 semester is enumerated below for
guidance:

Click the link – ‘Academic Fee Payment Portal’ at https://www.iitm.ac.in/academics to pay the
INSTITUTE fee using any bank Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.
1. Once you enter the roll number & Date of Birth, verify the Name displayed on screen.
2. Please check the ‘Fee structure’ PDF fee table and enter the appropriate amount for Tuition
fees and Other fees applicable to the category to which you belong
3. You will see a message on screen confirming successful payment. You can also confirm the
payment if you are on campus through https://workflow.iitm.ac.in/student, by following the
'PaymentHistory' link.
Note: If the transaction fails and money is deducted from your account, then please wait 3 to 5
working days for money to be credited back to your account. If the money is not credited
automatically, then contact accounts section at accounts@iitm.ac.in with your Roll number, Name
and Transaction ID.

In addition all students/scholars staying in the Hostel have to pay following hostel fees to Hostel
Management Account through the website www.ccw.iitm.ac.in (or) www.dost.iitm.ac.in using any
