VMware View Campus Wide Agreement Promotion Valid June 1 – Dec 15, 2010
Significant Discount on View Premier Licenses for Campuses Worldwide
Effective June 1st 2010, this new campus wide agreement allows all full time enrolled (FTE) students on a campus to qualify for View premier seats
discounted significantly off of the academic list price. All FTE students need to be included as part of this deal. Concurrency rates apply to the total FTE
population in order to calculate total licenses needed. A minimum of 1,000 seats in North America and 500 in the ROW is required.

Customer Eligibility Terms & Conditions
• A minimum order of 1,000 licenses is required to qualify for customers in the United States. A minimum order of 500 licenses is required for
institutions outside of the United States.
• All FTE students must be included to qualify for the campus wide pricing program. Proof of FTE student count must be submitted to your
VMware sales representative or authorized VMware reseller.
• The number of licenses required will be determined by the published statistics of FTE students associated with that organization and
concurrency rate applicable to FTE student population.
• Customers with existing VMware View licenses are able to secure campus wide pricing for their published FTE students minus the quantity of
licenses already owned.
• Additional users such as FTE faculty, staff and part-time students are eligible for campus wide pricing at the time of order only if all FTE
students are already included in the program.

The following are eligible entities:

• A school organized and operated exclusively for educational purposes, such as a K–12 school or district, a correspondence school, a junior
college, a college, a university, or a scientific or technical institution, which is accredited by associations recognized by either the department
of education or the local education authority and teaches students as its primary focus
• An individual school site, a collection of sites within a district or an entire district
• A departmental school within a larger university network, e.g., the law school at Stanford University can have a separate agreement from the
medical school or the undergraduate school
• The district, regional or state administrative office of an eligible entity, if the office is organized and operated exclusively for educational
purposes
• Any administrative office or board of directors that controls or administers or is controlled by or administered by an
