Clockify User Guide

Instructions on how to install and use Clockify on your browser or as a browser extension…

ON YOUR BROWSER

1. Visit https://clockify.me

2. Click on the GET STARTED – IT’S FREE button.

3. You will be asked to sign up. Click on the Continue with Google button and log in with the
same Gmail account you use to access EWOQ.
4. Once you are logged in, you will be directed to the TIME TRACKER tab. To start tracking
your time, click on Project and then Create new project.
5. When a pop-up window comes up, enter a project name and select a client (like in the
example below) and click on CREATE.
6. Now you are all set. Make sure you click on START only when you actually start the rating
tasks. Click on STOP when you finish or want to make a pause. IMPORTANT NOTE: The
timer will not stop automatically if you leave the EWOQ, become idle, or lock your
computer. You have to stop the timer manually every time you are not rating. To quickly
continue tracking time, click on the play icon for the time entry you wish to continue, and
the timer will start ticking again for that entry.

7. When you log in again another time, you won’t have to create a new project. Just make sure
you press the play icon found on the entry already created.
AS A BROWSER EXTENSION

1. Visit https://clockify.me/apps.

2. Find the section Browser extension and click on + ADD TO CHROME or + ADD TO
FIREFOX, depending on the browser you use to access the EWOQ. Important note: In
order to use Clockify, you need to rate tasks on either Chrome or Firefox.
3. Another window will open. Click on Add to Chrome (or Add to Firefox, depending on the
browser you are using).

4. When a pop-up window comes up, click on Add extension (or simply Add if you are using
Firefox).

5. Click on the Continue with Google button and log in with the same Gmail account you use
to access EWOQ.
6. Once you are logged in, you will be directed to the TIME TRACKER tab. To start tracking
your time, click on Project and then Create new project.
7. When a pop-up window comes up, enter a project name and select a client (like in the
example below) and click on CREATE.

8. Now you are all set. Make sure you click on START only when you actually start the rating
tasks. Click on STOP when you finish or want to make a pause. IMPORTANT NOTE: The

9. You can now close Clockify window and keep rating tasks. The app will continue to run as
an extension. To check the timer, click on the Clockify icon on the upper right corner of
your browser.
