Reflection:

Overall, each WP impacted me when it comes to my writing and reading skills. For each WP, I
have read articles, analyzed past entries, and critiqued my own peers work. These skills helped
me grow as a writer.

For WP, I learned how to build a genre from a simple subject. While working on WP1, I
struggled with coming up with the right genre. I felt like I was not going on the right path with my
WP and it made me question what I was doing. Eventually, I have come up with a unique genre
out of something so simple.

For WP2, I felt like I struggled the most with this WP. Though I learned how to build an
argument and use my own “personalized tone to my writing”, I felt like I struggled with coming
up with the right words. Eventually, I came up with the right words to say, but I feel like I could
have done better in becoming persuasive and presenting my topic.

For WP3, I felt like this was the easiest out of all the 3 WPs. After having an op-ed to refer to, I
felt like I was able to create an email good enough to send to a professor. Initially, I felt like I
would have a hard time finding a professor to “work with”, but I just started to think about fields
of study that could fit with my op-ed. Aside from being the easiest, this WP was my favorite.
Being able to write a professional email is important for future jobs or partnerships.
